👏Earlier this month, our Malawi team wrapped up their first ITN campaign, including a visit from the @PMIgov Global Malaria Coordinator, seen here in Salima. This campaign protected ~ 4.5M people from malaria, in districts formerly protected by IRS. @USAIDMalawi

#DYK @PMIgov is fighting the threat of antimalarial drug resistance? Through the PMI REACH project, PMI is supporting local leaders in Kenya to develop a strategy to ensure that treatments are effective for future generations of Kenyans.

We participated virtually today in #GDHF2024 with a demo of the CrossCut App highlighting our work with @PMIgov in Ghana. This app supports geospatial mapping for Indoor Residual Spraying & other health interventions. Kudos to CrossCut & our @AbtGlobalImpact colleague Bryan Fei.

With Anopheles stephensi causing an "unprecedented surge" in malaria cases in Ethiopia this year, neighboring East African countries must step up their action plans to address this growing threat. 🚫🦟
