I do have one issue with the SFA statement. They appear to believe that, because the game clock shows 53.07 (98.07) at conclusion, Celtic v Hearts was fully played out, no premature ending. But Callum Osmand’s goal was scored at 52.30 (97.30) and was immediately followed by fans on the pitch. So this SFA claim doesn’t make sense. The outcome of the match was not in doubt but the SFA can hardly claim that “more than the minimum additional time of eight minutes” were added. Not unless they mean that both teams could actually have played on with fans on the field.

@colinjordan1203 I’ll be honest, I was terrified the club had put him in a position that he was not prepared for, it wasn’t like he was coming into a harmonious situation and also was off the back of 2 consecutive failed transfer windows, it makes his achievement all the more remarkable

@PMJawn Im not answering the poll in terms of thinking he’d win the league but for me whatever happened didn’t affect his legacy. Failure for me was and in reality it’s still on the board

I said at the time of his appointment in October that Celtic were dicing with this man’s legacy, it is to his eternal credit, and their good fortune, that he has not only protected it, he’s enhanced it 🍀

I’d say there were a fair few at the time who did, probably including himself, it’s so great it’s worked out like this, I’m delighted, but it could have gone the wrong way, and I love the guy!
