MTG people who play EDH, how do you go about building a deck? As someone new to the game, idk enough cards to just build a deck from scratch. EDHRec is cool and all but it gives card suggestions rather than decklists and nowhere online can I find good decklists to start with :(

Teferi was in my favorite modern deck in 2018. Ezuri was my first commander. Goldberry is my favorite current commander. Emrakul my first pre-release. Fury the most expensive card I’ve opened

Cards that mean something to me. Great Sable Stag was the first foil rare I opened. Jace was the first 100+ dollar card I opened. Dark Ritual helped me win a Legacy Tournament. Goblin Guide lead my first modern deck.
