@Salibasexual02 100% mate. The break came at a perfect time. Woul- been fearful had we played Bournemouth 5 days after a lost cup final. 2 weeks break for 75% of the squad & back to an fa cup game also - have a feeling Arteta may go stronger than he has done in past rounds (esp as lost final).

Saka & Rice both completely rested over the International break after pulling out - alongside likes of Saliba, Gabriel etc. Just what we needed - everyone getting a 2 weeks break before the title run in & the fa cup/champions league ❤️🤍

Arsenal vs Fulham will be played Saturday night, 48(ish) hours before Everton host Manchester City.
Meaning bar the game against Man City, Arsenal play before them in every game week up until MW36*
Huge to get those 3 points and a bigger gap before City even play.

As much as this would be deserved hope its nothing until next season. Wont care if its this season but rather it be next. The amount of points fully deserved given how long the period it lasted.

International Break comes at a good time for us now, gives us time to lick our wounds, get it out of the system, rest up and come back with a clear head, don’t think I’d want to be facing Bournemouth right now, gives everyone a chance to calm down.
I’m sure City are on cloud 9 after yesterday and would play Chelsea tomorrow if they could, they probably didn’t want the break to come & stall this feeling.
They return with Liverpool & Chelsea, I’m sure they’d want both of those now while those teams are also fragile.
For once, this break might not be a bad thing.

Good to see players pulling out of these friendlies. Big 2 months ahead for us but also the World Cup - more players should just use it as a rest. Also sounds like we’re going to get a few players back after the break. Eze might take a bit longer but optimism it’s not too bad.

What even is the point of having international friendlies? Arsenal clearly have told all of their players to pull out of international duty. If FIFA don’t crack down on this behavior, we will end up having youth teams fielded in any game that’s not competitive qualifying.

I’m glad the club have found these “injuries” with a bunch of players that don’t need to risked in needless friendlies where their spot is already 100% nailed for the World Cup. We’ve got a title to win.

Gabriel, Saliba, Trossard all pulled out of international duty. Hope it’s them realising they don’t need pointless friendlies. The amount of football we’ve played a full 10-14 days without a game hopefully means we come back better & stronger post international break.

The only ones talking about the quadruple are Talksport and rival fans. We did the same with Liverpool and their fans never thought they’d win the quadruple. But we still laughed at them for not doing it. Bit weird to blame our fans for this.
