Britain is ruled by the ruling classes. The Tories want it to continue. Labour want it to continue. Reform want it to continue. Only the Greens will challenge the establishment and restore meaningful democracy.

@PMcpetey @Heccles94 It's scary that they don't understand how the real world works. The prices will rise, businesses will fall, jobs will go and money from taxes will drop.

@Heccles94 Taxing people more to pay for illegal immigrants and the indolent. Yep, system is very broken. Hence the need for people to work overtime.

People don’t chose to work overtime. They have to. This is because wages have been held below inflation for years. If people cannot live on a full time wage, the system is broke.
Patrick Henry@PatrickHenry

@Heccles94 “We should reduce the working week” people are free to work what they want. That’s why it’s called “over time” it’s over their agreed hours. Because they AGREED to the hours and CHOSE to do more

What do Andy Burnham & Rupert Lowe have in common? They are both in this for their egos - not the country. They are both in this because they hate somebody else. Burnham hates Starmer. Lowe hates Farage. Neither genuinely care about Britain. Vote Reform.

i don’t understand why immigration of any sort is universally unpopular. almost every country on earth heavily restricts it this is a recent thing too! before world war 1, you could just take a steamship from Brazil to Paris for $20 and decide you lived in France now what changed? are people bad now? is that the reason more people are even more bad? back then income wasn’t taxed in most jurisdictions either. now we tax our own people’s income & we don’t allow others to immigrate and earn income. i ask again, are people bad? is working bad? where did this zero sum attitude come from? what if we could also start deporting our own citizens, to have as few people as possible. would that be even better? is 0 the best amount of people? what is the point of all this?

@arnesa_kustura It didn't. NET immigration did. Maybe find out what that means before acting like you know stuff.

I’m an immigrant who’s lived and worked in the UK for 16 years. I have a North American accent and I’m white. I’ve never once been told to ‘go back’ to my ‘shithole country’ or to ‘stop stealing jobs from British people’. You’re not concerned about immigration. You’re racist.

@AvonandsomerRob Streeting has hinted he would ignore the democratic result of a referendum and do what he wants regardless. How very Labour of him.

It's hard to argue with Andy Burnham over the damage that deregulation of bus, train & energy companies have caused in Britain. Public transport is a complete joke compared to 30 years ago. Some industries work better under government control. I find it very difficult to understand why any working class person would ever vote for a Conservative-leaning party. And unless you're earning over £100k, which you're not if you're reading this post, you're much better off in a Union at work. Burnham would be a sea change from Starmer, but Wes Streeting has one surprise up his sleeve, which might well get him into Number 10 ahead of the Manchester Mayor. Streeting has hinted he would take Britain back into the EU, without a referendum. If you can name one single benefit Brexit has given this country, or any way Britain has improved since 2016, please feel free to rack your brain and leave suggestions in the comments?

Racist Islamophobic bigots. Disgraceful. They do not speak for Britain. They only speak for themselves. Tommy Robinson is the very worst of humanity.

Every one of them coked up to the tits. What a fucking grift. Every man and woman who has travelled to London today is dead from the neck up. Dead. They’re utterly incapable of thinking for themselves. This isn’t to say that they shouldn’t be concerned about the state of their country and where it’s heading. Of course they should. However, these grifters and influencers are hardly the answer. They see those in attendance as a mark. They’re rinsing them. Ah well, to end on a positive note, it looks like the turnout could be 70-80 per cent down in the last griftathon. There’s always hope.

I seem to have upset the @Nigel_Farage fan club - so let me be clear. This man sows hate, lies and division. He is a grifter and a conman. He does not represent the vast majority of Britons. RT if you agree P.s. multiculturalism is great.

In the last 48hrs Starmer has been given an opportunity to walk away from an incoming global financial shock that will likely lead to a recession. He has chosen not to do so. May I gently remind everyone that true leadership has little to do with faux charm & charisma. #r4today

A toxic combination of low wages and high bills is crushing this country. Today is Starmer's last chance to set out a plan that will end Rip-Off Britain: rent controls, nationalising water, freezing energy prices, and taxing wealth. No more half measures.
