@PMinshull

Keen wildlife photographer, mainly birds. Mostly frequent Middleton Lakes and Ladywalk reserves but anywhere with a camera is good for me.

Hard to do it justice but there was a ‘swarm of Swifts’ feeding low over the dam @WestMidBirdClub Belvide Reserve this early morn. At times they whizzed very close past by ears… one of those ‘you need to be there’ kind of moments! 😌 #Swifts

Never seen anything like it. 2 bats. Piperstells? stuck to this Burdock plant. One sadly dead. The other was alive. I managed to peel it off and put in a bat box.

Never understand why a major site like Middleton Lakes is relegated under the headline of 'Tamworth'. I see Oare Marshes isn't summarised under 'Faversham'. Sort it out @RareBirdAlertUK

@RSPBMiddleton We visited last week, but don’t recognise the Silt Pool platform. Is that the reed beds ?

@David_A_Bird Nice. If it wasn't for our Community Day at the club, I would have been there too!

Popped up to Bempton Cliffs, Wednesday. Weather was not best, but it paid dividends!! The sharp NE wind gave excellent conditions to capture the locals 'hovering' in the updrafts 👌

@WylesTony @Staffsbirdnews Sorry for delay in answering, don't use X that much!! I'm fine thanks Tony, just need a new knee and I'd be even better. Oh well, nowt to get old for. Went over Darley Dale for the Hawfinches today. Weather poor, and light crap but got some decent photos. Do you use FB?
