@RIBAarchitect @russellcurtis I stand corrected - with lot size average of 560sqm. 14.75 frontages. In the context of our town it is super dense.

@PNIELSEN_ @russellcurtis Hi Phillip, Are you sure about this lot size at 500m2 = say plots 10m wide x 50m long. 1 Hectare = 10,000m2 so this plot size equates to a net density of 20 houses per hectare (8 houses per acre) in a #Boulevard style layout. However, it looks far denser on the plans!

It’s extraordinary how many of these godawful layouts appear on social media, usually accompanied by some anodyne statement celebrating a recent planning consent. Everyone involved should be hanging their heads in shame, not posting site plans on LinkedIn.

What are our thoughts on applying Council Corporate Brand Colours to Public / Community assets? 🤷♂️ We submitted a letter to our local council today strongly opposing this approach for a $10m aquatic facility. The colours were decided on by Council staff... not the design team...
