The British Museum wants to introduce a 'Mediterranean garden' in front of the building's primary frontage. I normally like introducing fussy greenery, but it does seem a bit strange here – surely the formality and grandeur of that facade is the whole point?

At last an AI tool I can get behind “Upload an architectural render. Get back what it'll actually look like on a random Tuesday in November.” antirender.com

Very lucky to have these views on our doorstep. We enjoyed the walk yesterday on a frosty morning with azure blue sky and views for miles looking south. #LondonWalks The beautiful hidden walk along abandoned train tracks with best views of London mylondon.news/news/north-lon…

And here she is🐺🌕 The Wolf Moon, draped in splendour, Turning night into day with her incandescent, ethereal glow. Then dawn arrived, electric and blue, A sky without blemish, Welcoming a brighter orb that blazed with plasma light, Breathing warmth into winter’s veins.

@SCP_Hughes The figures reflect a period when Britain was transitioning into the world’s first industrial economy, necessitating a massive, rapid expansion of urban infrastructure. Also, planning didn’t exist to hinder construction!

According to the Census, England and Wales added around 400,000 homes net between 1821 and 1831. Scaled for population (12m in 1821), that would equate to our building 2 million homes by 2035, twice the rate of the Government's target, and around three times current output level. Scaled to existing stock (2m in 1821), that equates to our building nearly 6 million homes by 2035, six times the current target rate and ten times current actual output. Scaled to GDP (i.e., if housebuilding had increased at the same rate as overall productive power), that equates to building perhaps 12 million homes by 2035, 12 times the Government's target rate and 18 times what we are actually achieving. Add to this that new homes between 1821 were generally larger and of better quality than the existing stock, and were concentrated in the locations of highest demand. This means that the raw numbers *understate* how much value was added to our housing stock in that decade.

And my dad would never have been able to learn or memorize all of those lyrics from hundreds of songs if he had been a drunk.

@RadioFreeTom @NancySinatra My father, an alcoholic and a fan of the Rat Pack, told me long ago that Dean wasn't a real drinker. Me, a recovered alcoholic, say the same thing. Real alcoholism would have meant Dino wouldn't have had the career he had.

@NotebookLM I’m passing this concept to my wife who is about to teach her first Spanish lesson to a beginner. Can I use Gemini 3 to prepare an infographic for a beginner. Also, any updates yet on when podcasts will be available to generate with UK English accents?

Did you know you can create more than just "Infographics"? For example, try using this prompt to create a downloadable, multiple choice quiz: “Create a multiple choice questions worksheet for 5th graders about X. You MUST first come up with 10 multiple choice questions and show them in a list. You MUST NOT give away the answers in the infographic as students will be taking this quiz as a test. Prioritize text size, not imagery.”
