It's important we continue our work to protect Washington from threats and care for the Earth — reducing waste and pollution, increasing recycling, and building clean energy to advance our clean energy transition. Today on Earth Day, we celebrate Washington’s Tribes, community groups, nonprofits, governments, and all the Washingtonians who are so passionate about caring for our beautiful state and the health of our people. Thank you.

BREAKING: I just signed a bipartisan transportation budget for our state that invests $1.5 billion in preservation and maintenance for our roads and bridges, without raising taxes. We have 80 bridges that are more than 80 years old and in poor condition. We rank first in the country for potholes. That's why I went all in on preservation and maintenance in my proposed budget. I'm grateful to the Legislature for delivering.

Our attorneys @TheJusticeDept just secured a crucial win for America-first policies: Kentucky can no longer give in-state tuition benefits to illegal aliens. Americans will NOT be treated like second-class citizens in their own country. President Trump made it clear via executive order: illegal aliens should not obtain taxpayer benefits or preferential treatment. This DOJ is carrying that out via litigation across the country.

@GovBobFerguson You sure do work hard for those illegal immigrants. Too bad you wouldn't work as hard for us citizens! Lower the fucking gas tax and get rid of the CCA that is doing NOTHING for the environment!

We are not helpless in the face of what's going on with ICE and the terrorizing of communities across our state. Yesterday, I signed 3 bills to protect the rights of immigrants in Washington — ensuring that workers receive notice when federal immigration authorities plan to conduct workplace inspections, that information from automated license plate reading systems is safeguarded, and that state employees have access to shared leave for immigration proceedings.

On this episode of "What Not to Do as a Lawyer"... he's gonna need a lawyer! 😂 Must be a liberal...after arguing with the judge IT pulls the “because I’m trans” card, then when found in contempt yelled “I can’t breathe” followed by a scream. 🤣

The first bill signing I've been a part of with watch parties around the state! This is a statewide effort to hold ICE accountable, including by prohibiting masks for law enforcement. Thanks to all those in Bellingham and Spokane who joined us.

NBC News’ Kristen Welker: “You’re talking about 140 million barrels of Iranian oil, and that’s just a little bit more than what the world uses in one day. How much can that really change prices here at home —” Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent: “Again, Kristen, terrible framing, terrible framing. No, no, no — prices here at home?” “Let me explain. 140 million barrels — about 20 million barrels a day — comes out of the Gulf. About five million has been the uh, repurposed by the Saudis, by the UAE. So, we’re at a 15 deficit. About 1.5 is Iranian oil that comes out. So, we are at between a 10 and 14 million deficit on a daily basis.” “If you think about 140 million barrels, that’s between 10 days and two weeks of supply. And one of the reasons, one of the reasons that prices in the U.S. of West Texas crude are below $100 — and we have not seen this massive spike as we did during the beginning of Russia/Ukraine — is because we are well supplied in the market, whether it is the Russian oil, whether it is the Iranian oil, or it is the largest the SPR release in history done by a coalition of 32 countries, 400 million barrels.”

Okay, so these highly polished calcite crystal slabs were situated UNDERNEATH the giant limestone paving stones. Think about that for a moment. Marble-top level polish on these calcite crystal slabs with purposeful channels carved into them, but they were placed under the multi-ton stone floor?? So they could never be accessed? So why were they so highly polished and why do they have these channels carved into them if they could never be accessed? Seems like a ton of work for something that was never going to be seen by anyone, ever. So it can't be artistic or even ritualistic because... well, nobody is ever going to see them or have access to them. So a permanent, inaccessible, highly polished calcite crystal infrastructure with a network of channels carved into it... I explore the possibilities with Geoffrey Drumm from The Land of Chem on-site at Saqqara in Egypt.

Constituents from across the 9th District have been sharing how high gas prices have become since Trump began his war of choice with Iran. In Mercer Island, gas is almost $5.50 a gallon. Trump's decisions are raising costs.

🚨BREAKING: Gov. Kathy Hochul is now admitting the “climate” law she championed is HAMMERING New York’s economy and CRUSHING affordability for working families. She admitted the “green agenda” she backed is “not a sustainable path forward” and leaves working families behind. The 2019 Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act pushed by Eco Cultists keeps sending utility bills and gas prices soaring, slamming hardworking New Yorkers with thousands of dollars in new costs.

A federal court said on Thursday that it would rule for Washington, 20 other states, and the District of Columbia, turning back an unlawful attempt by the Trump administration to pressure health care providers into ending transgender health care for youth with gender dysphoria. “This is a resounding win for the rights of youth, their families, and the rule of law when it comes to medical care,” Washington Attorney General Nick Brown said. “The court agrees that the administration ignored the law in its rush to deprive transgender youth of the health care they are legally entitled to.” Learn more: ow.ly/uf8r50YwX32
