This crashout over WA adopting an income tax, which nearly every other state in the union has, is comical to watch. I get the arguments against CA’s “billionaire” wealth tax, that’s a fundamentally different policy approach than a simple income tax targeting the rich.

The Microsoft execs making $2M a year? Taxed less. That Microsoft job only exists because some entrepreneur took the first step.
