Every resale on Pollux kicks off a lineage payment, and here’s the part people miss, each lineage only runs 3 times before it closes out. 💰 That’s not a limit though, it’s a stacking mechanic. Own 100 of our NFTs and you’re looking at up to 300 lineage payouts total, since every single one runs its own 3-sell cycle. And it doesn’t stop there. Buy back into the same NFT, or grab a totally different one, and a fresh lineage starts all over again. Doesn’t matter how many times you cycle through it. Royalties themselves never stop generating. It’s the lineages that have a shelf life, and that’s exactly what pushes long term holders to keep stacking with us.

There are some holders said the system was broken and that they were never paid... our system is not broken, it correctly reads. This is true that 129 holders were permanently skipped, because these wallets have "XRPL's Deposit Authorization" flag turned on, which blocks any incoming payment from an address not on their own pre-approved list. That's a setting on the holder's own account; the engine can't pay around it. If you want to get paid, you'll have to switch that in your own settings from your end.

Worth explaining today is how NFT royalties work inside Pollux specifically. Resales aren’t a one time event where the holder gets nothing after the first sale. There’s a permanent royalty built into the resale itself, so value keeps flowing back as pieces move hands. That changes the incentive completely. Holders aren’t just hoping their first sale is a good one, they’re building something that keeps paying out as long as people want it. 🔗 It rewards actually holding onto something worth keeping, not just something worth flipping once. 🌱
