Wanted to use my ability to write an update, because I've gone silent, while I still have it. For starters best point of contact is discord right now Same user Because my DMs here are a pool of spam And my Trello is pinned on my profile I'm just not doing great. It's been an uphill battle for the better of 3 years straight, and I had a small glimpse of hope the middle of this year. But over the holiday months, personal events have shattered me. Things that taught me so much ripped away just when I was getting excited. There were and are still many days I'd like to check myself into to a hospital to be monitored for my safety. But I cant, I cant run from work and not work period for Patreon. I have a job and duties, I have no desire to really take on any work and have turned down several. I'm behind on orders that were meant to be done in October/November because it just wasn't on my radar for a 180 in my life change. I moved away from friends and family for a group of people I didn't know well, and I'm learning from that. It's incredibly lonely and I want to hug my mom on the nights that are the darkest but I cant, not for four more months. The point of this rant is I'm wrapping up my Trello, no desire to take new work and I'm working myself toward being able to be free for a bit and likely take a hiatus offline until I feel stable enough to be online. Online just isn't safe, there's too many triggers and I spend most days fighting a depression I didn't even know I could have. For so long I was in denial about my emotions but I don't feel in control, I feel like I'm in a state of psychosis that's only getting worse at this moment. I'm my biggest enemy right now, for not completing work sooner, for struggling to keep updates consistent and causing fear in clients who have given me my support. I've had so many amazing people give me the work I have and I couldn't be more honored to be trusted and I feel humiliated that I cant just click off the insane case of the sads and just work on more stuff a day. Its why I will ALWAYS refund if asked in these cases when I get like this. I know a portion of you are patient and to that I'm eternally grateful, but I don't ever want to let you guys down, while my mental health IS important. You don't pay me to be sad gambling on when I will improve cause even i don't know. You pay for ART and if I cannot provide results in a time frame you're comfortable with, then you're more than entitled to a refund, it will never bother me to provide one. I've just been silent and the questions been coming up about my mental state and if I'm okay, to put it simply, I'm just not, the transition to your 20s is hard and nothing prepares you and i just need time to be silent. So, again, Trello is linked for the remainder of clients, if anything's wrong discords attached so we can wrap up what's leftover before my hiatus so no loose ends are left unfinished and no ones left in the dark! ALSO Patreon isn't stopping, I'm just taking a hiatus from all other socials. I need the closure of not needing to check my DMs and only running patreon I have no intent to leave forever, I love each and everyone of you who likes what I do so much and I could write a whole other novel on that alone how much everything these past few years means to me. But I need to process things heavily, and heal, before I can give you guys my best self as an artist again. I cant live by myself being unfair to any clients or causing people to worry or not trust me, that's not who I am and i need to step back and get it together for a little bit. If you read all of this, you're one hell of a trooper. Thank you, with all the love i have right now.
