Everyone in the RWA space is solving tokenisation. Almost nobody is paying attention to the distribution. Hint: You've heard of @Cordablockchain. Who's next on Unblock'd? Drop your guess.

But the grid was designed for a world where generation is centralised, dispatchable, and slow to change.

PJM's emergency 15 GW auction was supposed to be a turning point for VPPs. They weren't even in the first draft. A coalition had to fight to get them included. Now they're in, technically. But the design traps could still block them in practice. Which one kills VPP participation first?

. @Breakthrough just put $105M into quantum computing to help solve the load growth problem. Because AI's energy intensity is becoming unsustainable. Better compute = less energy burned per inference. But it's half the equation. Efficiency at the compute layer doesn't fix the grid's structural problem. A one-way architecture trying to handle two-way energy flow. Quantum helps AI use less. Local energy markets make the grid smart enough to use what's already there. Less waste. Less congestion. Less infrastructure you don't need to build. @Powerledger_io has been building that layer since 2016.

One of the largest utilities in the US just threatened to quit its grid operators. 190 GW in the interconnection queue. 63 GW contracted. can't get it connected, while data center demand doubles. Residential bills rising 3.5% per yr through 2030. @AEPnews CEO, Bill Fehrman said, "the current state of PJM's performance and stakeholder approval process does not give me great confidence that these issues will be resolved anytime soon". When a centralised operator has to adjudicate every connection, every megawatt, every project, it becomes more than just a queue problem. Centralised energy infra cannot win this. DePINs are inevitable.
