@asabbas98 Love this update. Bringing back the sunnah of moonsighting inside a prayer app and tying worship back to nature like this is so thoughtful. If you’re interested, you could also submit Pillars to RamadanHacks: app.praysap.com/ramadanhacks

We're RECONNECTING Muslims to nature, and their faith. In a first of its kind .... I'm SUPER excited to be rolling out our Moonsighting Feature 🌙 on Pillars! It's clear to me that the prophetic (sunnah) of seeking the new moon to declare the start of Ramadan has been forgotten. There's a reason why so much of our worship is connected to the world and nature around us. Some examples: ☀️ Prayer times -> based on the position of the sun 🌙 Islamic calendar -> based on moon phase 🤲 Answered duas -> based on rain For the first time across any prayer app on Pillars you can now declare whether your authority (or you) has sighted the moon. We'll automatically take care of the rest and adjust your calendar to reflect the 1st Ramadan. Still waiting for an announcement? No worries ... mark it as "Not Clear Yet" and come back to it later. Not seen it? We'll ask you again tomorrow at Maghrib when the new (Hijri) day begins. We don't take a position on whom you should follow (we're not gonna join the moon wars)! But we let YOU select whether YOUR authority has declared the moon as sighted or not. Let me know what you think inshaAllah!

@Officiallshona Love this. A gentle, web-based space for salah, adhkar, journaling, and Quran time tracking feels so needed for Muslims who are overstimulated. If you’re interested, you could also submit Still to RamadanHacks: app.praysap.com/ramadanhacks

I couldn’t find an Islamic app that felt…gentle. So I built one 🥹. Well it’s a web app, but you get the full app experience when you save as a web app to your Home Screen. It tracks the time you spend in worship and stillness. It guides you through salah and adhkar with routines and flows. It mirrors your emotions to keep you grounded with the AI integral journal feature. It guides you through your sleep or tahajud routine which Night sanctuary. It tracks every second you spend reading The Book (Quran). For Muslims who need a quiet space to reflect, return gently to their spirituality and find Stillness. Try Still. bestillapp.co 😊🙏

@muhibwqr This is incredible. Turning a user’s intention into grounded du’as with Names of Allah, Quran, and sahih hadith, without hallucinations, is exactly the kind of Islamic AI we need. You should consider submitting du’aOS to RamadanHacks: app.praysap.com/ramadanhacks

Muhib@muhibwqr·
muslims. we're 1/2 through ramadan. lock in making du'as from the qur'an and sunnah should be simple. so i'm launching duaos.com "And to Allah belong the best names, so invoke Him by them" (Qur'an 7:180). du'aOS uses: > Semantic search, your intention is matched to the 99 Names of Allah and verified hadith & quran > Hybrid ranking, vector + keyword so the right du'as surface > AI refinement, turns that into a personalized du'a in a Prophetic style (bound by strict parameters that prevent random generation) You get: > Name of Allah > Hadiths > Quran (related) > Your refined du'a > Store your du'a locally in cache so you have it available as you need No guessing. No hallucinated sources. Just intent → Name → hadith → Quran → your du'a. check it out:  > duaos.com this is a opensource repo, feel free to contribute and hit me up w suggestions etc.

So I built a web app for Ramadan and I’m honestly a little overwhelmed. In 48 hours, Layali has had: - 3.6k visitors
- 404 users
People logging in from the UK, US, Canada, Nigeria, Pakistan, Kenya, Australia and more.
86% of you are using it on your phones aka in real life, in between everything. There was no big launch team. No paid ads. No fancy funnel. Just intention, Dua & community sharing it with community. I built Layali because I needed something that would help me stay consistent without shame. Something that felt human. Seeing it actually being used, across continents - is humbling in a way I can’t fully explain. Thank you for sharing it.
Thank you for trusting it.
Thank you for believing in it. May Allah put barakah in every single user, every dua written inside it, every small habit formed. Alhamdulillah, always 🤲🏽 NOW SUPPORT TO KEEP IT FREE buy.stripe.com/bJecN59MH0xv79…

Today I'm open sourcing Qivam (qivam.com) 🎉. I built this so Muslim developers don't have to solve the same infrastructure problems from scratch. It's the kind of backend that every Islamic app needs but nobody wants to build twice. Qivam for now have masjid and prayer time related APIs, served through a clean REST API. The bones are strong and the roadmap is ambitious. Still early days — this is a work in progress and I wouldn't rely on it in production just yet. But I'm building it in public and I wanted to put it out there from the start. Built on: Hono · AWS Lambda · Neon PostgreSQL · Drizzle ORM · TypeScript ⭐ github.com/CoderMehad/qiv… 📖 docs.qivam.com Free for everyone. Open for contributions. #OpenSource #Muslim #IslamicTech #MuslimDevs #BuildInPublic
