Si fuéramos estado, además de ese 33% estatal tendríamos que sumarle la contribución federal. Resultado: más del 60% de tu ingreso se iría en impuestos. 🌴 Por eso Florida y Texas son lo que son: ellos eliminaron el impuesto estatal. Solo pagan el federal. Pero PR está al máximo en estatal y, si entráramos como estado, sumaríamos el federal encima. 🏛️ La Junta de Control le ha propuesto al PNP cambiar eso: bajar el impuesto al ingreso y subir los de consumo y propiedad, como hacen los estados.
