@sidney_sbm In Africa when you find something treasure in your own land it's called illegal and it's belongs to government 😆😆 but when you find something dangerous like drugs it's called your personal property 😆

My cousin, who owns a small mining company and operates at a galamsey site, recently discovered a large deposit of gold. She was overjoyed by the find. However, the situation quickly took a troubling turn when the Ghanaian government moved to seize the raw gold, offering compensation in return.
She refused the offer, unwilling to give up what she believes rightfully belongs to her. Now, the government is threatening to revoke her citizenship if she continues to resist.
Now my cousin is depressed, is this fair the treatment she’s getting from the Ghanaian government…

English

@sidney_sbm Did you say operating at a galamsey site? That's downright illegal. You're lucky to have been offered something. Take it whilst you're still alive. No lawyer will win this. And this person isn't even Ghanaian?? Is that the case?

@Quansah_9 @Hakimadga @OgojoNELSON @NoodleHairCR7 You won't believe the initial fines were all reduced for that foolish behavior....unbelievable but true
English

@Hakimadga @OgojoNELSON @NoodleHairCR7 So there were no sanctions to the fact that, Moroccans went to the extent of stealing towels belonging to goalkeepers of other countries
And you think this decision is the best?
Thanks just so saf

🚨Sadio Mane OFFICIAL Statement:
What happened has gone too far. This is not the football we fight for, not the Africa we believe in.
There is too much corruption in our game, and it’s killing the passion of millions of fans across the continent. Players give everything on the pitch, but decisions off it are deciding matches and trophies.
I’m deeply disappointed not just for Senegal, but for African football as a whole. We deserve better. The fans deserve fairness, transparency, and respect.

English

@Hakimadga @OgojoNELSON @NoodleHairCR7 The ref finished the match. He was happy to do that. Are you listening to yourself?
English

@OgojoNELSON @NoodleHairCR7 It wasn’t for Morocco to decide how to rule a football much according to FIFA. The referee and the laws of football do.

I wanna buy churches like this that are shutting down across England.
So if you know a church that's for sale and potentially closing down, let me know. I wanna buy a church.
I don't care if it's got planning permission to return to flats redeveloped. I don't care.
I wanna buy it. I don't care how profitable the conversion will be.
If it was built as a church, I believe it needs to stay as a church.
I want to save churches like this one from being shut down and sold off to developers all across the UK.
I love making profit in property, but when someone's being built as a church to honour Jesus Christ, that's a no no.
There's revival coming in England and we need to keep our churches open. Ready for what’s to come.
Is this a good idea you would support?

I’ve just watched Joey Barton dismiss AFCON as a "minor tournament" because of Morocco's finals drama, and honestly, this is a familiar pattern.
Africa is judged harshly using incidents that happen everywhere else.
Let me ask:
Did Copa América 2024 stop being a major tournament because the Argentina vs Colombia final in Miami was delayed 82 minutes after fans without tickets stormed the stadium?
Did Brazil vs Argentina (World Cup Qualifier, 2023 at Maracanã) stop mattering because violent clashes delayed the kickoff and Argentina’s players briefly left the pitch?
Did Euro 2016 in France stop being a major competition because of violent clashes involving England and Russia fans in Marseille, delaying kickoff?
Did England vs Bulgaria (Euro 2020 qualifier, 2019) stop being a real competition after the match was halted twice due to racist abuse?
Of course not.
So why is Africa treated differently?
What Morocco did was wrong, 100%.
That issue should be addressed by CAF and judged as Morocco’s responsibility, not Africa’s.
AFCON was hosted successfully in the Ivory Coast (2023/24).
Other African countries have hosted before, and it worked just fine.
The next AFCON is coming to East Africa, and it will speak for itself.
Africa doesn’t need permission.
Africa doesn’t need to explain its dignity.
Those who respect Africa are welcome.
Those who don’t will keep watching Africa anyway.

@Thuso1Africa @PR_Diomaye This coming from someone flying the SA flag. You just gotta laugh heartily
English

Imagine your country Senegal wins the biggest sport tournament in the world, but the president of the country is not in the stadium to celebrate this historic moment? You're a useless president

@ArneysReds @Teamgyokeres And he's also dogshit. I'd however say Michael Owen though. He's got some really bad takes along with the when they don't score they hardly ever win line.

@PurelyFc @FootballTalkHQ Sir....did you read the post properly? The man saw his son being born and came back to the bench!!
English

@FootballTalkHQ So Sarri blocked Koulibaly from seeing his son’s birth…
…and STILL benched him?
This is actually insane.
English

🗣️ Kalidou Koulibaly shares a crazy story about Maurizio Sarri:
“I will never forget the day my son was born. My wife had gone to the clinic in the morning and we were playing against Sassuolo at home that same evening. We were in the middle of a video session and my phone kept ringing. vibrate.
My wife called me 5 or 6 times. I then rushed outside and my wife said to me: "You must come, our son will be born". So I went to see Sarri and I said to him: "Mr., I'm sorry, but I have to leave now, my son is going to be born". He looks at me and says: "No no no. I really need you tonight Kouli. You can't go". I insist: "It's the birth of my son sir.
You can do whatever you want with me, hang me I don't care. I'm going". Sarri, who is stressed, smokes smokes smokes, thinks, and finally says to me: "OK, OK, you can go to the clinic, but you have to be back for the game tonight, I need you Kouli.
I arrived at the clinic at 1:30 p.m. and thank god I arrived in time to attend the birth of my son. It was the best day of my life.
At 4 p.m., Sarri called me back and asked me to come back, My wife needed me but she still allowed me to join the team at the stadium. Then when I entered the locker room, I saw Sarri displaying the score sheet. I'm looking for my name and there, and my number is not there. I say to him: "Sir, you are joking I hope? My son, my wife, I left them, you said you needed me". And there he answers me: "Yes, I need you... on the bench". I think about it now and feel like laughing. But at that moment, I wanted to cry.”
