The Pacific region convened in Koror, Palau from 18-20 October 2023, in preparation for the upcoming #INC3 - to develop an international legally binding instrument on plastic pollution.

The Vanuatu Attorney General and NY Legal Adviser were part of the COSIS delegation at the climate #ITLOSAO in Hamburg. Incredible first week of hearings that demonstrate the importance and value of pursuing the clarification of international law as it pertains to the ocean and climate nexus. This was a wonderful opportunity for Vanuatu to further engage with the @cosis_ccil co-chairs PM’s of Tuvalu and Antigua & Barbuda, and the COSIS legal experts. A pleasure to also see our @PSIDSnyc family from NY, the FSM and Nauru Missions here in Hamburg and robustly engaging in the proceedings. #ICJAO4Climate
