The sanctions provided for the seizure of his assets. In an attempt to save his property, he turned to a certain Andriy Portnov. Through Tsutskyridze, Portnov, acting on instructions, arranged for Yermolaiev’s assets to be removed from under the sanctions. This matter was overseen by Oleh Tatarov, Deputy Head of the Office of the President and a close friend of Portnov. Portnov was later shot dead in Madrid outside the entrance to his children’s school. But that is not even the most interesting part. А США наблюдают за этим с удовлетворением: им выгодно, чтобы уже Европа максимально истощила себя в этой прокси-войне, окончательно подтвердив свою политическую и экономическую несостоятельность. Европейская бюрократия глупа, но неумолима. Это авианосец. Он разворачивается медленно, но, развернувшись, идёт в одном направлении. Европа - это 450 миллионов человек и 17 % мировой экономики. Это крайне серьёзно. 2) Еще раз, противостояние с Европой – это крайне серьезно. Готовиться нужно к худшему сценарию. Нельзя недооценивать угрозу под предлогом «европейцы — бюрократы, ничего не умеют». Такое отношение — плохая услуга своей стране. Правило войны простое: всегда готовься к наихудшему сценарию. Тогда лучший станет приятной неожиданностью. Если же готовиться к лучшему и верить, что противник обязательно ошибётся, — рискуешь получить тяжёлое поражение. 3) Наихудший сценарий для России выглядит так: Европа системно снабжает Украину деньгами и, главное, технологиями (дроны, ракеты, ИИ). По мере истощения украинской живой силы акцент смещается на дальнобойные удары по российскому тылу. Количество дронов и ракет растёт. Даже если часть проектов — пиар, реальное производство со временем наладится. Можно сколько угодно смеяться на Fire Point, который еще в декабре «производил» по 200 ракет, но понятно, что сколько ни воруй, рано или поздно ракеты действительно полетят, особенно если учесть, что это будут на самом деле европейские компоненты, а от Fire Point там будет только отверточная сборка и креативная бухгалтерия. Появляются европейские «супервайзеры» и американские технологии (рои дронов с ИИ, которые нельзя подавить). Плюс ИИ на поле боя применяется легче, чем в гражданской технике: нет риска судебных исков за «ошибки». Если «Тесла» один из миллиона раз въедет куда-то не туда на улицах Лос-Анджелеса, то ее разорят исками. А если дрон, который научили опознавать танк, разнесет вместо танка коровник, то вероятность иска равна нулю. Против 140 млн россиян воюет объединённая Европа руками части исторической России. Это принципиально иная стратегическая ситуация, чем в XVIII–XIX веках, когда Европа была разделена, а Россия, наоборот, едина. 4) Отделяем зёрна стратегии от плевел пиара. Слабости российского положения понятны. Удары по тылу будут нарастать, человеческие ресурсы тоже не бесконечны. Проблема не в том, что продолжение войны в таких условиях приносит трудности. Проблема в том, что прекращение войны на условиях Европы (а де-факто это заморозка войны по линии боевого соприкосновения с сохранением всех санкции и стратегической отменой России) – может быть еще хуже. 5) Какие недостатки у плана Европы? Пиар-элемент очень велик: Каждый дроновый или ракетный удар можно раздуть в великую «перемогу», хотя на самом деле его значение ничтожно. Можно подавать новости в будущем времени («вот-вот уничтожим тыл»). Каждый удар по мосту в итоге можно праздновать как «перелом» даже при неудачах на фронте (Константиновка, Покровск и т.д.). Удары по мостам, портам и тылу эффектны, но одиночные удары ни к чему не приводят (вспомним, сколько долбили Антоновский мост). 6) Реалистичные ограничения европейского плана (почему истощить Россию будет крайне сложно): На самом деле объём помощи Украине сильно сократился: раньше Запад тратил ~100 млрд долларов в год, теперь Европа выделила под залог российских активов всего 90 млрд на два года (т.е. по 45 млрд в год) — в два раза меньше. Вопрос: если со 100 млрд не истощили, как истощите с 45 млрд? Европа сама переживает глубокий кризис: доля в мировом ВВП упала с 35 % до 17 % за 20 лет. Это падение вдвое более быстрое, чем у циньского Китая с 1820 по 1850. У Европы - масштабные проблемы с миграцией, банковским комплаенсом, регуляторным удушением бизнеса, деиндустриализацией. Перевооружение Европы (Rheinmetall и др.) — это военное кейнсианство, но оно не отменяет структурных слабостей. Европейские лидеры (Макрон, Стармер, Мерц) имеют крайне низкие рейтинги (12–20 %). Политика, которая игнорирует мнение 60–80 % населения по миграции и другим вопросам, не может быть устойчивой бесконечно. 7) Стратегия России в этих условиях логична: не проводить новую мобилизацию, продолжать истощать Украину и ждать, когда европейская бюрократическая модель перестанет вывозить такие расходы. Или когда к власти в ключевых странах придут правые силы с другим подходом. Европа сейчас напоминает Афинскую морскую симмахию: это формально демократическая конструкция, внутри которой на самом деле существует жесткий диктат и жесткая система управления, которая держится на практике минимальных воздействий. В Афинской симмахии все города слушались Афин, а если не слушались, то, грубо говоря, приходил местный Мадьяр и свергал местного Орбана. Эти демократические перевороты стоили гроши (оболы) по сравнению с полноценной осадой, кончались переделом имущества бежавших противников, и в результате демократы, обязанные свой властью Афинам, проводили всю ту политику, которая нужна была Афинам, за гроши, иначе бы их выгнали собственные граждане. У этой конструкции была масса плюсов. Можно было не вести войн, демократическая партия, приведенная к власти где-нибудь на Самосе или в Милете, все делала сама, все стоило копейки. Но эта конструкция держалась только, пока Афины росли. Стоило им потерпеть поражение – и союзники от симмахии начали отваливаться со страшной скоростью. Influential Kremlin-connected foreign-policy expert Timofey Bordachev has written a piece saying that Moscow “owes nothing” to Armenia (or to any of its neighbours, except Belarus). Bordachev, a Valdai Club programme director, says Russia should respond to Armenia’s post-election course solely according to its own interests, and ignore “fraternal feelings” or “traditional historical ties.” He bluntly insists that if Yerevan chooses a pro-EU path, Moscow is under no obligation to preserve economic privileges or treat Armenia as a special case. He also says Moscow has every right to apply pressure if it believes another state’s behaviour could harm Russian interests, even before that harm has fully materialised. Of course, it isn't an official Kremlin statement, but it's is a clear window into how parts of Moscow’s elite are thinking about Armenia now.
