Congratulations to PD Mo and PC Liam Cousins who have achieved their initial General Patrol Dog license and will now undertake operational duties across the North East Division 👏🏻 PD Mo was sourced at 8 weeks old and joins PD’s Eva, Luther and Raid. Good luck Mo! 🐾

😍 We're welcoming a waggy new recruit to the North East team. Trainee police dog Stash is an 8-week old Springer Spaniel 🐶 Once he's successfully completed his training, Stash will be joining the team as a drug detection dog Good luck Stash 🍀

Congratulations to PD's Kobe, Paco and Xander who have all completed their 4-week training course and officially licenced as Firearms Support Dogs. These dogs can now deploy with Armed Officers throughout Scotland to locate and detain dangerous individuals and #KeepPeopleSafe

What a flying start for #PDMurphy! On his first operational shift Murphy and his chauffeur sprung into action locating two males breaking into cars. #PSOSDogs are delighted to welcome Murphy to the team, where he will protect communities across the East of Scotland.

#PDObi yet again shows the value of our Police Dogs! Missing for 21 hours @PSOSLanarkshire, a 77yr old male was located in woods having fallen over and unable to get back up or summon help. Traced by #PDObi, he is now recovering well with family. Great Work! #WhatWeTrainFor

Happy retirement to the amazing, award winning PD Amber! After almost 9 years in Tayside division, saving lives and catching baddies, this 2 X Scottish champ, and 3 X National Police Dog Trials rep, (UK's most obedient dog!) now retires by her handlers side for new adventures.

⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ PUPPY ALERT ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ One of our pups, #TPDSkara, met her colleagues and some locals @PSOSWestIsles when she visited #Barra the other week. Here she is at Eolaigearraidh Beach where she was loving life! Its all socialisation & environmental training at her age 🐶

After a stolen vehicle was pursued by @PSOSRoads after a housebreaking, they caught 3 suspects 😁 . #PDNinja then started looking for a 4th one who had "given it legs". Unfortunately for them, she put her nose down, tracked through woodland & located them hiding. Result!👏

After report of a single car RTC, but no driver with it, #PDEli was called in. She picked up a track, went through numerous fields and then searched a woods. She found the naughty driver hiding under a tree. He had no licence, insurance & failed a road side breath test. Arrested!

#PD Paco got to play this week after some suspected drug dealers made off in a car and crashed it in Inverness. 2 men "gave it legs" but PD Paco led his leash holder straight to them hiding in some bushes near a train line. After Paco "had a chat" they wisely gave up. 👏 👏
