Last week I was invited to participate in the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau's Rural Road Safety Week press event at Merrymead Farms in Lansdale, PA. Speakers highlighted the need to safely share the road with farmer's and their equipment.

PSP members met Eileen Miller, the mother of a young man killed by a distracted driver and the driving force behind the Paul Miller Law. She tirelessly fights to keep the roadways of Pennsylvania safer. Today, she was a speaker at an aggressive driving event in Philadelphia.

When you see the orange triangular Slow Moving Vehicle (SMV) emblem on vehicles or farm implements, it warns drivers of a slow vehicle speed. Don't Rush. Pass With Care. Remain Visible. Yield to Wide Vehicles.

The Department is deeply saddened to announce the loss of a dedicated member of our ranks, Corporal Timothy J. O’Connor Jr. He served as a Patrol Unit Supervisor at PSP Embreeville and was killed in the line of duty on March 8. Read more at bit.ly/PSP-TJO26.

Criminals are targeting the elderly in an access device fraud scams involving the victim's credit cards. PSP reminds you to never give anyone your credit cards. Your bank will never ask you to send your card or to give it to a courier.
