My grandmother lived to be 103. She passed peacefully in her sleep yesterday. Her mind was still sharp and she’d had a good day with loved ones. What a blessing to have had her in our lives.

Partisan gerrymandering should be unconstitutional in every state. It's pure Soviet politics, allowing the people in power to rig the system to ensure they stay in power. What's particularly disgusting is what is happening in Florida, where voters overwhelmingly voted to make partisan gerrymandering unconstitutional, and then Ron DeSantis and Florida Republicans decided to explicitly ignore the will of voters and pass an unconstitutional bill, counting on the GOP-packed state Supreme Court to bail them out. It's vile behavior.

The real kicker is that SCOTUS ruled just last week that race cannot be a factor in drawing district maps, and that's exactly what Tennessee did: drew maps that specifically benefit whites.

No vote in Tennessee (+1 GOP) No vote in Florida (+4 GOP) No vote in Missouri (+1 GOP) No vote in North Carolina (+2 GOP) No vote in Texas (+5 GOP) Virginia’s voter-approved maps thrown out. MAGA has rigged the system.
