@CardAficionado @darrenrovell Do you think that a modern card of an unproven player should fetch the same as a 72 year old PSA 9 rookie of a HOF solely bc Topps labeled this one version a numbered to 5 card ?

Tigers shortstop with 33 career games played — 2 HR, 14 RBI. Card sells for $48K. Al Kaline played in 2,834 games over 22 seasons with the Tigers. 3,007 hits, 399 homers. His record card sale? $50,400 last month for his 1954 Topps rookie in a PSA 9.

RECORD SALE: We just sold this 2025 Kevin McGonigle Bowman Chrome Prospect Autograph Red Refractor in a PSA 10 for a record $48,000 in our auction. This makes it the most expensive Kevin McGonigle to sell, more than doubling the previous record.

@davidf37373 @TrevsSportsCard @EZLocksSB @CardPurchaser 100%. I have a sub station post office in my city that take it to the bigger post office in my city. When I drop it at the sub station no issues at 1oz. If I drop it at the main 1 that’s where I get it kicked back. But yes 100% under ounce every time.

@EZLocksSB @CardPurchaser So you charge $1 shipping then only do 1oz for 74 cents? Interesting. I realize margins are small but almost everytime someone does 1oz 74cent shipping I get charged with a Due fee from USPS cause they didn’t do the 3oz $1.32 shipping.

@stlcbcb @JFeRg52 Don’t get me wrong I think it’s absurd but this is the rare one. I don’t know, seems like the classic “you can do what you want with it”. I’ve never sold a ballpark give away. I usually give it to a family. a gold one like this I would have kept. Pretty cool thing.

@DODGERDAWG22 @CardPurchaser @PSAcard The up charge is a good thing. Means it’s an expensive card. Not sure who would be jealous, odd thing. Pretty simple all those sides mean harder to grade but reward could be huge. Only you can judge the risk reward.

I was told by someone that this card isn’t worth grading and I shouldn’t waste my money. I’m more worried about the up charge @PSAcard would apply to me. Does jealousy have anything to do with it ? Any suggestions @CardPurchaser

@collinsworth55 @EEHavenwood Basketball is a “simple” game to play. But the skill to play is insane. The difference between a high level college player and an nba player is vast. Football is pretty straight forward. Is the physicality that makes it hard. The skill in basketball is insane high.

When I say football isn’t a high skilled sport this is exactly what I mean. Dude has never played football before and got drafted. You have to be extremely athletic and strong but nobody is drafting someone in the NBA who has never played basketball before. Too much skill in 🏀

@NoWorldOrder85 @joshhart Wouldn’t be a step on the right direction for the players. And the dirty little secret all these coaches don’t want to tell you is they like the ability to be able to tell a kid not working out to leave

@joshhart Yeah, more than half of the entire MCBB population is in the transfer portal haha Something has to change! 2 year contracts would definitely be a step in the right direction. Plus say 2 max transfers for entirety of a player’s eligibility.
