@gawendaseminars Did it years before Covid and usually 5-10% of patients. During Covid 60% and now back to 5-10%.

Just curious how many of u who started doing telehealth during COVID r still doing it after COVID and at what percentage compared to during COVID?

For general baseline data, @fotoinc gives users comparisons based on risk adjusted data. This includes national avg visits, functional, pain range change & cost per condition 1/2

Research help needed for LBP. Looking for cost and visits used (comparing insurance or not) for… Disc,Joint, radiculopathy, Chronic pain differences Want to look at expected # of visits, expected costs, and how long average episodes of pain might last. Anyone? @Retlouping

@GregLehman What do you do with studies like Fritz et al 2007 in Medical Care that showed the rate of successful outcome in PT was almost double among pts receiving active vs passive care? Passive care was associated with poor clinical outcome and larger costs… pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/17890995/

The reason I don’t slam manual therapy, TENS, Ultrasound or acupuncture about the research being poor quality is because the research supporting what I do (exercise, load/symptom modification, “pain education) is poor quality too. Strong opinions can’t be held in this space
