Roughly 46 percent of voters in Virginia vote Republican. Geographically, the vast majority of the state is conservative (see 2024 voting map). Yet, those on the right have zero representation in the U.S. Senate. In the U.S. House of Representatives, Republicans currently hold five of 11 seats, 45 percent. Under the proposed redistricting plan by Gov. Spanberger and Democrat legislators, Republicans would lose four of those seats. Democrats would control 10 of 11 House seats and both Senate seats. Is that fair? Know the facts as you cast your vote about the proposed redistricting.

@lovenmonee @BillAckman @MillennialRisk You made or lost money on FNMA depending on when you bought or sold. I bought more FMCC today when it was down. I see big drops due to temporary outside factors in fundamentally sound companies as a great opportunity. You alone control the timing of your buy & sell.

𝗦𝗘𝗡. 𝗝𝗢𝗛𝗡 𝗞𝗘𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗗𝗬 𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗗 𝗔 𝗗𝗢𝗢𝗥 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬𝗕𝗢𝗗𝗬 𝗦𝗔𝗜𝗗 𝗪𝗔𝗦 𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗞𝗘𝗗. The SAVE America Act — requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote — has been stalled on the Senate floor because Democrats are running out the clock with a talking filibuster. Sixty votes to break it. Democrats have pledged never. Schumer said so out loud. Senator John Kennedy just said: fine. Try reconciliation. Reconciliation only needs 50 votes plus the Vice President. That's how Republicans passed the One Big Beautiful Bill. Kennedy's argument is blunt and honest: 𝘸𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘯'𝘵 𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘥. Nobody has sat down with the best legislative lawyers in the country and tried to engineer a version of the SAVE Act that survives a Byrd Rule challenge. Kennedy has been in the Senate ten years. He's watched provisions he thought were dead sail through the parliamentarian — and slam dunks get killed. You don't know until you try. Here's the Byrd Rule hurdle in plain English: anything passed through reconciliation has to have a real, direct budgetary effect — not incidental, not indirect. A voter ID provision as written is an election integrity measure. To survive the parliamentarian, lawyers would need to craft it so its budgetary impact is central, not peripheral. That's hard. It may not be possible. But Kennedy's point is that no one has seriously attempted it with the right legal minds in the room. Democrats have spent weeks betting that the filibuster wall holds forever. Kennedy just suggested Republicans haven't exhausted their options. I personally think this is a brilliant strategy and would elevate Kennedy to Deity status in DC if it works... well deserved if he achieves it. 😀 𝗜𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗔𝗩𝗘 𝗔𝗰𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝘀 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝘀𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 — 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 — 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗴𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘄𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝘆.

Much respect for Trump the man. He cuts through BS. Really upsets the AppleCart. And makes things happen. I don’t always agree, but he kicks A & takes names. Some talk about, some do it!

🚨Today whether I want it to or not… the truth about Donald Trump is coming out. And nobody… not the media not his critics… not the people who have spent years trying to bury this story… can stop it from reaching you today. Because what Trump did in 1986… before he was a politician… before he was President… before any of it… is something the entire city of New York still remembers. And it is time the rest of America remembered it too. 😭 1986. New York City. Central Park. The Wollman Ice Rink. A place where families were supposed to bring their children. Where couples were supposed to skate hand in hand. Where the city was supposed to give its people something beautiful. Supposed to. Because for 6 straight years… the city government tried to fix that rink. 6 years. $13 million of taxpayer money. And every single time… they failed. The children of New York waited. And waited. And waited. While politicians made promises. While bureaucrats held meetings. While millions of dollars disappeared into a project that never seemed to get finished. And the families of New York… just kept waiting. Then one day… Donald Trump walked into the Mayor’s office. Not as a politician. Not as a President. Just as a man who was tired of watching his city fail its own people. And he said four words that every politician in that room probably laughed at. “Give me the contract.” The Mayor said yes. Probably because nobody else was stepping forward. Probably because six years of failure had made everyone desperate. Probably because what did they have to lose. And what happened next… is the story that should have been on every front page in America. Trump pulled $2.5 million out of his own pocket. His own money. Not government money. Not a grant. Not a loan. His. And he went to work. No excuses. No delays. No committees deciding what color the ice should be. Just work. Relentless. Focused. Determined work. Four months later… the Wollman Ice Rink opened. Not six years. Not after another $13 million. Four months. And he came in $750,000 UNDER budget. The children of New York who had been waiting for six years… finally got to skate. Families who had given up hope… showed up that winter and felt something they hadn’t felt in a long time. That someone actually cared enough to finish what they promised. That someone put their own money where their mouth was. That someone chose this city… over comfort… over convenience… over keeping $2.5 million safely in his own bank account. And here is what breaks me completely every single time I think about this… Trump never had to do any of it. He was a businessman. A private citizen. Nobody elected him. Nobody asked him to fix it. He just… couldn’t watch his city fail its people one more day. And walked in. And fixed it. With his own hands. His own money. His own four months. That rink is still standing today. Right there in Central Park. The same place it has been since 1986. And every single person who has ever laced up their skates and stepped onto that ice… has skated on Donald Trump’s sacrifice. Most of them never knew it. Most of them still don’t. But now you do. And now you understand why… whether people want to admit it or not… the truth about this man keeps finding its way back to the surface. 😭🙏🇺🇸 Drop a ❤️ right now if this story hit you somewhere deep. Type “THIS IS THE REAL TRUMP” in the comments. Tag someone who needs to know that long before the White House… long before the rallies… long before any of it… Donald Trump was already showing up for America. With his own money. In his own city. For children who just wanted to skate. #Trump #personalgrowth #motivation #lifestyle

This old lady handed her bank card to the teller and said "I would like to withdraw $10". The teller told her "For withdrawals less than $100, Please use the ATM." The old lady wanted to know why... The teller returned her bank card and irritably told her "These are the rules, please leave if there is no further matter. There is a line of customers behind you." The old lady remained silent for a few seconds and handed her card back to the teller and said "Please help me withdraw all the money I have." The teller was astonished when she checked the account balance. She nodded her head, leaned down and respectfully told her "You have $300,000 in your account but the bank doesn't have that much cash currently. Could you make an appointment and come back again tomorrow.?" The old lady then asked how much she could withdraw immediately. The teller told her any amount up to $3000. "Well please let me have $3000 now." The teller kindly handed $3000 very friendly and with a smile to her. The old lady put $10 in her purse and asked the teller to deposit $2990 back into her account. The moral of this story is, Don't be difficult with old people, they spent a lifetime learning the skill.!!

Watching VCU play North Carolina and one of the dumbass pro-gerrymander commercials came on. This one featured vets talking about how they fought for this country so Democrats should rob millions of Virginians of their representation. 𝗖𝗡𝗡 𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗧-𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗖𝗞𝗘𝗗 𝗖𝗛𝗨𝗖𝗞 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗨𝗠𝗘𝗥 𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗢𝗡 𝗔𝗜𝗥 Chuck Schumer stood on the Senate floor just now and declared the SAVE America Act appeals to "only the most fringe element of the MAGA base" and that "most Americans do not support" it. CNN — 𝗖𝗡𝗡 — immediately put up a graphic that destroyed him in real time. Favor photo ID to vote: White Americans: 𝟴𝟱% Latino Americans: 𝟴𝟮% Black Americans: 𝟳𝟲% The CNN anchor's verdict: 𝘷𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘐𝘋 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘺. 𝘕𝘰𝘵 𝘣𝘺 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘺. 𝘕𝘰𝘵 𝘣𝘺 𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘦. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘷𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘫𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘈𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘪𝘵. Notice what those numbers mean for Schumer's specific claim. He said this bill only appeals to the MAGA fringe. 76% of Black Americans support photo ID to vote. Black Americans do not vote MAGA at 76%. That number destroys his entire argument before he finishes the sentence. Schumer isn't confused about the polling. He knows these numbers. Every Democrat in that chamber knows these numbers. They aren't opposing this bill because it's unpopular — they're opposing it because it works. A bill that confirms only citizens vote removes the electoral infrastructure they spent years building. That's the whole game. Chuck Schumer called 76% of Black Americans, 82% of Latino Americans, and 85% of white Americans the "fringe MAGA base." Every Republican senator should be playing this clip on a loop between now and the midterms. And then they should nuke the filibuster and pass the bill.
