(4/4) Console graphics options doesn’t have an ETA yet. It needs extensive testing. Hoping to see it mid-2022, but don’t hold me to this. Changing graphics stuff could lead to massive instability, so the plan could get scrapped. Hope that doesn’t become true. Fingers crossed!

@SkilledID The Force is showing me TPP players on my doorsteps with pitchforks.

@PUBG_Devs That’s precisely what removing TPP for one season would achieve. Mind tricks I tell ya! (Also read nudge, the tipping point, predictably irrational, freakonomics, etc etc etc)

No guarantees, but I’ll try to see if I can get the rest of the dev team to change the default queue for console Ranked Squads on NA/EU to FPP. Not sure about closing down TPP. But at least this might set FPP up for higher chances of success?

@Yachanin216 With the increased traffic post-F2P, we’ve indeed been discussing various options on map selection. But before we can commit to anything, we need to see if the post-F2P traffic actually sticks. Otherwise, we’ll be making too short-term of a decision.

@PUBG_Devs Any plans for a lobby with a map vote system?

@miDnIght20C Yup. Our recent decision was a careful one. Again, Ranked traffic isn’t at levels to make us confident about having both TPP and FPP. And we do agree that some opinions are by the vocal minority, but Ranked FPP’s been voiced forever and has merits. We’ll see how this goes.

@cprestes7 Dunno. One of the next steps for last week’s meeting was to convene again before Season 17 to see what we have to do with the queues. So if Ranked FPP totally blows TPP out of the water, then maybe???

@PUBG_Devs A question. If in the near future the dev team sees that they are only playing ranked FPP will the TPP queue be deleted?

@Nedrick_NA Yeah, we did consider that. Wish it could be a solution, but the problem is ping. Once we let people go to other regions, they won’t be the only ones having bad ping. Their bad ping will deteriorate the experience for people that were just fine before. Tricky, tricky…

@PUBG_Devs Thanks for listening. We appreciate it. Removing tpp even if temporarily for the first week or two, would also be a much fairer chance for success. Really a whole season of forced fpp so people give it the fair try it’s never been given would the best. But we take your offer

The result of last week’s meeting. Traffic levels are a bit borderline for having two Ranked Squad queues open. And before you ask us to close TPP, the dev team needs to confirm which queue is actually more popular. So if you think FPP is the way to go, grab everyone and jump in!

@FrathosCAN Did this happen pretty often?

I checked my preceding TPP Squads match with same 2 friends & different random, none of us got the BFFS medal in that match despite lasting 28+ minutes for all except random who was 7+ minutes. 3 TPP Duo matches at 26+ minutes each also gave no BFFS medal to either of us. 😟

@PUBG_Devs Is there a problem with BFFS medal on @PUBG console? Only 1 person of my squad got the BFFS medal in this match where we got a Chicken Dinner. In case it matters, he was disconnected in lobby & rejoined match in plane. #PUBGBATTLEGROUNDS #XboxShare
