@ShooterLibby Nah, Cambridge Analytica was an effective operation run by evil geniuses and the data-set they got was accurate or at least plausible. Twitter is almost entirely fake accounts and all the data Musk is getting from it is astroturfed so hard that it has no predictive value.

But also my POV is a little different from the average viewer I think. I read The Boys comic before the show came out (I wouldn't recommend it lol). So I know they're still on track for the comic ending and I know for a fact it doesn't really need 8 hours of build up.

I like season 5, but I think the biggest issue is that Kripke and co made a final season of a TV show from a different era. S5 has mostly been "here's the last chance to hang out with these characters," rather than, "here are satisfying conclusions to all the plot threads."

If Pizza Hut can return, then we can resurrect Blockbuster. And we should. While Netflix made things more “convenient” we lost something irreplaceable: The ritual of going to a place with your family or friends to choose a story together. That experience was special.

@dkmsully Lanterns will be bad because the showrunner, Tom King, is notorious for being unable to understand how heroes think or feel. And morally, King is a soldier writing a show about soldiers for a media cartel with ties to the govt. Every part of this marketing campaign is bad.

@poerinsn @G_O_A_T_Lantern The platform treats replies and retweets differently. You don't get decide how the platform works, the devs decide that. Getting ratio'd doesn't boost a tweets visibility, but getting retweeted does, regardless of negative commentary. It's called negative-engagement.
