While I really (REALLY) missed Stephen Briggs’ character work in this audiobook, Bill Nighy being so present as Death in Hogfather absolutely worked for me.
The novel itself is fun as usual for Pratchett, but Nighy’s "Hooo, hooo, hooooo"s are what I’ll remember most.

Finished Hogfather by Terry Pratchett
Death trying to fill the role of Discworld’s equivalent of Santa Claus is a great premise already, but Bill Nighy’s Hooo, hooo, hooooos in the audiobook genuinely made me laugh.
Also featuring: Susan, Death of Rats, and Quoth the raven.

Building the 'Finnish it' app with @FlutterDev and @Firebase to explore cutting-edge, AI-powered use cases has been an absolute passion project. Seeing it recognized at Google IO is incredibly rewarding.
Words can't fully express my gratitude to the Flutter team for the overwhelming support. The best way I know how to say thank you is by giving back: I am currently working on at least two more deep-dive articles on Generative UI. I can't wait to share my findings and passion very soon!

1. This data is independent: appfigures.com/top-sdks/devel…
2. We did not split tooling. An app can count in two+ categories. Expo 8% is a SUBSET included in the total React Native 14%. Same with Compose & Kotlin.

I love the public art in San Francisco. The Metamorphosis sculptures on 17th street have been at the 101 underpass since 2024, but this is the first time I've seen this much green and flowers around them.

Google’s internal incentives are to build new stuff to get rewarded/promo’d. Maintaining something existing is not that promo-worthy.
It’s why every year there’s a new product for the same thing. Oh, migrating customers also not promo-worthy.
