@AlexFiveZero @OfficielKaybaye Perfect comparison to the London pubs then - they’re in Hackney and you’ll not hear a single cockney accent within a quarter mile.

@calm_strategy Too conservative, one too many defenders and one too many DMs, not enough to change it up top. Take away a defender and garner and add MGW and palmer/eze

My England World Cup Squad No - Foden, Palmer, Eze, Gibbs-White Yes - Toney, Maguire, Trent, Garner Rough rationale - If we're using Tuchels 4-2-3-1 as a base, and trying to optimise around Kane, then I think this is the best way to build. Kane needs space when he drops deeper and the best way to ensure this is to have more disciplined nominal wide players to stretch the pitch. (Saka, Gordon). He needs pace around him and runs in behind. (Gordon, Rashford, Madueke). When we want to encourage this dropping we can only have one '10' on the pitch or they will be too crowded. When he drops and sprays the ball out wide, and said fast players then cross the ball, we need to have a presence in the box still and Bellingham and Rogers have the best physical profiles of the 10s to dovetail with him here. As a sub, Toney is the most similar profile to Kane that we have and although its our biggest drop off, I think it makes sense to take him on the basis of resting Kane at the end of games if we can whilst still keeping the same structure. He's also good at penalties. Rice and Anderson can both play '6' and '8' and they are the top 2 for both roles. If one were to get injured Mainoo and Wharton are progressors of the ball but in different ways. Mainoo can carry (good v high press), Wharton passes (good v low block). If both Rice and Anderson were injured though, I wouldn't be comfortable playing them together. I think Garner would be the backup to one of them in more of an enforcer type role. With Whites injury I think Trent should go as the backup to James, Livramento should go as the backup for both fullback positions. Maguire should come for his heading ability in both boxes. Coming on for the last 20 minutes both when we need to defend or we need to score, hes really valuable here.

@henryswainjourn No I get that but this has probably always been the case that if your own player kicks it at you it’d never be given like it’s a separate thing

This is probably the most interesting retained list so far, as #PUFC’s usually is… Announcing the players “available for transfer” is strange, but gives clarity to fans, not against it at all. // Archie Collins not signing a new deal is unsurprising; he’ll be off to a TOP League One side w/ a big budget, potentially a Championship side. An excellent midfielder. // Jacob Mendy is a well-rounded LB w/ great physical attributes; If Boreham Wood are promoted into L2, I think he’d be an excellent signing for The Wood Army, returning to a former club. // At 35yo, I wonder whether Tom Lees may go into coaching soon, if not yet, I could see him @ Dagenham for a season w/ their ambitious owners + large budget. - George Nevett + Cian Hayes both been made available for transfer… I’d love to see both return to Rochdale. Nevett a wonderful ball-playing defender, comfortable stepping into midfield - good physical attributes too. Hayes a dangerous winger, excellent left foot, manipulates the ball well. - Klaidi Lolis is a player who I feel could drop back into the National League this Summer, if an ambitious side came in for him. - Chris Conn-Clarke has had a really disappointing season on loan @ Carlisle where his impact has been extremely limited. Mark Hughes clearly didn’t fancy him for some reason. Not sure what’s next for CCC?! - Another tough one is Donay O’Brien-Brady; a Posh academy graduate. A physical midfielder, doesn’t seem to have bailed himself down to a specific profile of midfielder yet - Should get a L2 move. - Bradley Ihionvien was a strange signing in the first place; he never rocked the world @ Colchester, so his move to Posh didn’t seem right. It hasn’t work @ all + his loan to Shrewsbury was poor as well. A drop into Non-League football? - Abraham Odoh could be an excellent signing for a L2 side; he had that successful season @ Harrogate before moving to Posh, where he’s struggled to be the star replacement for EMC. He’s athletic, a strong ball-carrier + able to make a decent impact in wide areas.

@TransferCentre9 I’m calling bullsithe on this. Carlisle had agreed a £500k+ fee with Peter upfront and he’s on £14.5k wages. And he’s been absolutely dreadful for Carlisle and is a lazy fcuk. No way on this earth. Agent talk
