Capt. Christopher Amyand Haggard earned this Croix de Guerre at Villers Bretonneux in April 1918. The #medal was created in 1915 and would be bestowed upon foreign military forces allied to #France. The bronze star signifies the recipient was mentioned in dispatches. #pwrr #WW1
