At Persistence Capital, we spend the weeks after every earnings season reading everything across 500+ publicly listed companies – calls, letters, filings, footnotes – trying to figure out what actually changed and what was just noise. We have now started distilling what we think matters each quarter into a single deck. The result is Signal & Noise – 220 slides, 100+ companies across 8 sectors (IT Services, Internet, Financials, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Consumption, Industrials, and Defence). Your portfolio may be down, but at least you can read 220 slides on why it fell 😅. The full deck is accessible in .pdf format using the link below: docsend.com/view/dcg46sfb6… Would love to hear what resonates and what we got wrong. Disclosure: No recommendation to buy or sell anything. Please consult a financial advisor before making any investment decisions.

I haven't seen a more massive WD system in my life. Insane coverage.. Though activities will shift eastwards by late afternoon however more systems are on the way around 23rd and 28th March though their intensities have to be seen. Enjoy winter in March and possibly into first half of April also.

this is actually insane > be tech guy in australia > adopt cancer riddled rescue dog, months to live > not_going_to_give_you_up.mp4 > pay $3,000 to sequence her tumor DNA > feed it to ChatGPT and AlphaFold > zero background in biology > identify mutated proteins, match them to drug targets > design a custom mRNA cancer vaccine from scratch > genomics professor is “gobsmacked” that some puppy lover did this on his own > need ethics approval to administer it > red tape takes longer than designing the vaccine > 3 months, finally approved > drive 10 hours to get rosie her first injection > tumor halves > coat gets glossy again > dog is alive and happy > professor: “if we can do this for a dog, why aren’t we rolling this out to humans?” one man with a chatbot, and $3,000 just outperformed the entire pharmaceutical discovery pipeline. we are going to cure so many diseases. I dont think people realize how good things are going to get

HDFC Bank down 15% from Rs 1020 ATH. ➡️No core business issues, Q3 FY26 showed 11.5% YoY PAT growth to Rs 18,654 cr, GNPA at 1.24% (stable/best-in-class), NIM 3.35%, strong capital (19.9%). ➡️Why falling: Deposit growth (11.6% YoY) lagged advances (11.9%), pushing CDR near 100%, limits lending, raises liquidity concerns. Post-Q3 disappointment + analyst downgrades + FII profit-booking + sector weakness. ➡️Buying opportunity? Long-term yes for many analysts (targets Rs 1150-1240, 30-40% upside, seen undervalued).

India to See Sharp Rise in Green Hydrogen Capacity in 2–3 Years India is expected to witness a significant increase in green hydrogen production capacity within the next 2–3 years, driven by multiple projects nearing completion. Current commissioned capacity is around 8,000 tonnes, but the government aims to raise it to at least 200,000 tonnes in the coming years. Tenders for about 20,000 tonnes of green hydrogen capacity have already been awarded, with 10–12 additional tenders in the pipeline. The government has issued tenders for 1 million tonne per annum (MTPA) green hydrogen production capacity, supported by subsidies. Growth will help decarbonise hard-to-abate sectors such as steel, refining, and transport (including shipping). India recently recorded its lowest green hydrogen price of ₹279/kg ($3.08/kg) in a supply bid for the Numaligarh refinery in Assam. Under the National Green Hydrogen Mission (₹19,744 crore) launched in 2023, India aims to produce 5 million tonnes of green hydrogen annually by 2030. Industry leaders say policy support such as carbon pricing and continued improvements in electrolysis technology will accelerate adoption and reduce costs.

India has recorded its lowest-ever discovered price for green hydrogen at ₹279 (~$3.08)/kg in a tender for 10,000 tonnes per year supply to Numaligarh Refinery in Assam. Supported by government incentives and cheaper renewable electricity, this milestone boosts cost competitiveness and marks rapid sector progress. India’s ambition to achieve green hydrogen at USD 2/kg is not a distant dream anymore. @sembcorp @BPCLimited @OilIndiaLimited

No pure-play uranium stocks in India (UCIL unlisted). For India's nuclear push (to 100GW by 2047): - Larsen & Toubro (L&T): Reactor vessels, major NPCIL supplier. - NTPC: JV for new nuclear capacity. - BHEL / MTAR Tech: Components & precision parts. For direct uranium price upside: Access global ETFs like URA (Global X Uranium) or URNM (Sprott) via LRS/international account. DYOR, not advice.

Uranium is set for a commodity super cycle Kazatomprom accounts for 20 percent of global uranium production, and its future growth is no longer freely available to the market: - India made a huge deal with Kazatomprom valued at 50% of the book value - China/Bannerman deal locks in future supply - Russia/Kazatomprom locks in most of the supply growth of Kazakhstan This means incremental supply is being pre-allocated through state-level strategic deals... not sold into the open market. Meanwhile, the West is sitting on the sidelines watching future supply vanish. - India alone plans to increase nuclear energy 10 fold to 100GW - That's equal to ~ 50 mlb/year of uranium demand - New reactors purchase 3 years of uranium supply upfront Achieving just 50% would mean India alone needs to purchase 60 Mlb of uranium upfront. And this is happening in a market that has already been in structural deficit for years, with secondary supplies shrinking and mine development timelines measured in decades. Higher uranium prices at this point are a mathematical certainty

Sarvam’s 105B model (and its smaller 2B sibling, Sarvam-1) solved a problem that global giants like OpenAI & DeepSeek ignored: the Tokenization Tax. In most AI models, an Indian word like Namaste takes 4-8 tokens to process, while an English word takes only 1.4 & this makes AI 4x more expensive for us. Sarvam built a custom tokenizer from the ground up that brought Indian language fertility down to 1.4 tokens/word, matching English for the first time in history. This is how 40 people outperformed others in local efficiency :)
Kiran Kumar S@KiranKS

China's Deepseek had 5000 researchers working on its AI models. India's Sarvam developed its foundational models from ground up with just 40 researchers! And trained on 105B parameters. Remarkable.

Sarvam 105B model follows the same MoE design, activating 9B parameters per token to combine large-scale capability with efficient execution. With a 128K context window, it is built for more demanding tasks including complex reasoning, agentic task completion, tool use, coding, mathematics, and science. This makes it well suited for enterprise and population-scale deployments that require deeper reasoning and structured problem solving.
