It’s actually based on a real autobiographical story from Corinne Hofmann (a Swiss/German woman), who wrote the book The White Masai about her own experiences in the late 80s. She left her life in Europe, married a Samburu warrior (related to Maasai), had a kid, and eventually returned after the cultural clashes got too heavy. The video is just retelling a true tale that became a bestseller and a movie years ago. Not every cross-cultural romance story has to be some grand conspiracy people do wild, impulsive things for love (and sometimes regret them). Reality is messy enough without turning it into “propaganda.” Interesting story though, cultural differences hit hard.

She came from Switzerland but chose to leave everything behind to build a new life with a Maasai warrior in Africa. What began as a bold love story soon took an unexpected turn… watch till the end.
