I think a lot of people miss out on how great Bishop @DavidOyedepoFdn is . A lot is sadly lost in the noise of largest auditorium and “prosperity gospel “ . I have been listening to some of his messages over the holidays . This man is a colossus in organization structure , Leadership development, personal development, budgeting , project management and scenario planning ! I am not surprised covenant university graduates are the way they are . I have worked with a few in the finance world . I know a few in ministry . Bishop is duplicating himself in them . He is pragmatic and very practical !

I wanna buy churches like this that are shutting down across England. So if you know a church that's for sale and potentially closing down, let me know. I wanna buy a church. I don't care if it's got planning permission to return to flats redeveloped. I don't care. I wanna buy it. I don't care how profitable the conversion will be. If it was built as a church, I believe it needs to stay as a church. I want to save churches like this one from being shut down and sold off to developers all across the UK. I love making profit in property, but when someone's being built as a church to honour Jesus Christ, that's a no no. There's revival coming in England and we need to keep our churches open. Ready for what’s to come. Is this a good idea you would support?

If you equate Emotional thinking to "Sensibility" then I understand why there are over 4k individuals in your "community" listening to you brainwash them. Now give me at least 5 points your sensible people gave to counter what I wrote, and I will give you 15 points, devoid of any form of emotions. A little tip? This man right here stood against jewelries and the television 📺, by calling it the devil's box. After many years of ruining people's lives, he came out to apologize. Did such apology restore the lost years? No. Someone quoted this tweet, claiming he had no car to his name, but all was under his church (more like a trust) which coincidentally, he is a signatory to. A simple question, is that not equal to a tax evasion move? I don't defend blindly because I have a liking to someone, I defend with logic. That's why I'll rate lawyers and judges more than I'll ever rate the CEOs of churches.

He lectured at the University of Lagos, He gave up Professorship for Pastoral duties. He hails from Erin-Ijesha, Osun State. Do whatever you want with this information.

If it was a human, with good stand and morals, or if we were oyibo like him, they'll even create n find organizations that'll fight for Christian rights till thy kingdom come to make sure such atrocities do not happen again. The truth about Nigerian Muslims is worst than you think.  October 11, 1991, a German evangelist named Reinhard Bonke planned a large Christian crusade in the northern Nigerian city of Kano. Christians were excited about the event, and the hype was widespread. Many Muslims did not like this, and they opposed it, believing that Kano belonged to Islam and that Christians should not hold such a crusade there. Fearing that Christianity was becoming too popular in Kano, members of the so-called "religion of peace" then took to the streets and began rioting.  Within hours, they started lynching innocent Christians, burning their homes, churches, and businesses. Christian Children, women and men alike. Christians were lynched, raped, impaled, butchered, and burned alive. This targeted violence against Christians continued for days. Many Christian families disappeared, never to be seen again. Entire Christian neighborhoods became empty, with homes and businesses seized by Muslims after the owners were killed. By the time the army finally intervened and stopped the killings, hundreds of Christians were dead, thousands were injured, and hundreds of thousands had been displaced. The military government underreported the death toll as about 100 to 200. However, survivors and other accounts claim that more than 500 Christians died. These acts were not carried out by Terrorists, they were carried out by everyday Muslims that knew the people they were killing, the type of Muslims you call your friends. The crusade was canceled, and the victims never received any justice or compensation. Today, some of those who carried out the killings, or their children, can be found online proclaiming that Islam is a religion of peace and accusing others of being Islamophobic and saying there is no Christians genocide in Nigeria  Don't ever let anyone massacre your people and then come online to gaslight you.

This is how the fascist orange man @realdonaldtrump keeps his base intoxicated by waving Jesus Christ like a campaign prop. He knows the oldest scam in politics is to claim godliness loudly enough, and people stop thinking. It’s not faith, it’s fraud. And it takes a wicked man to practice it.

@TosinOlugbenga He said He, Himself, what's you people's own? He didn't say you should not follow who you like, He talked about himself. There are many christians who share this belief, they just don't carry microphones. They prefer established churches and pastors.

You are honoring someone who is bringing dishonor to the body of Christ. Which one is “I honor him” “I honor you Sir”? He made that mammon driven statement about three times. Why is it the word “Pastor” that came to his mouth. That’s a disrespect and dishonor to the pulpit he preaches for.
Apostle Harrison Ayintete@Preacherrapper

Pastor Korede Komaiya said HE CAN NEVER FOLLOW A POOR PASTOR, that’s not a biblical thing to say. I honour God’s servant and I mean no disrespect, please don’t be offended sir, I think you should review this statement. 1. In the quoted text, Solomon was simply showing people’s reaction to the wealthy, everyone loves wealthy people, although speaking for myself, I don’t love many wealthy people and I have never made an alliance with anyone simply because of their wealth, nonetheless, the text wasn’t instructing us to treat poor people badly or run from them. 2. Everyone is poor or wealthy depending on who is judging. Where a man’s wealth stops is where another starts. There are billionaires and there are billionaires, there are billioniares who will describe millionaires as poor people. Life is diverse like that. Plus, the Christian is not to aim for the most money but to have enough money for God’s work. Let’s be careful, so we don’t move from hatred against poverty to love for money. 3. I don’t know if Pastor Korede said this due to the excitement of the message or he really meant it but I think this is a very dangerous thing to say. I honour him and believe with all my heart that God prospers us but we all know most global pastors started out very poor! Daddy Adeboye didn’t begin his ministry with billions. Neither did Bishop Oyedepo and many others. We can’t begin to decide which pastor to follow based on money. That’s a very ungodly precedence. Prophet Elijah had no food to eat yet it was the grace on his life that sustained that widow of Zarephath. We can’t begin to look down on preachers because they have no money, we can’t begin to rate preachers high because they have money, these yardsticks are very materialistic, they are very unhealthy. I think the man of God may have spoken out of excitement but even in that case, it is not right. The younger generation of preachers become vain, unbridled in ambitions, become segregationists and very dishonorable all because of money, while we believe and preach that God prospers abundantly, we must never forget the life of a man does not consist in the abundance of the things he owns. It is well.🙏

For years, ministry workforce has been perceived as minimalistic and survival-based. But The Masters Place International Church under Pastor Korede Komaiya (KK) is rewriting that narrative. Corporate-level remuneration: bonuses, scholarships for staff children up to University level, free housing, 100% medical care, and structured empowerment programs. The message is clear — those who labour in church can live well, raise families, and secure a future. Leadership means loving people, caring for them, and giving them a future.

Doc, there’s this narrative that Covenant university was built by the church, I mean, from donations et al. If this is true, shouldn’t the fees reflect a measurable discount at least for church-members? Btw, in terms of infrastructure and academic excellence, they are doing a great job.

Wigwe University is collecting ₦9.6m – ₦12m PER SESSION (tuition only) — accommodation is extra. Nobody is shouting. Nobody is invoking conscience. Nobody is mentioning tithe. But suddenly… Covenant University charging ₦1.7m – ₦2m ALL‑INCLUSIVE (tuition, accommodation, medical, facilities, security, power, water) now becomes a moral problem because it’s church‑owned? Landmark University is even cheaper — ₦650k – ₦800k ALL‑INCLUSIVE — same church ecosystem, same discipline, same structure. So what exactly is the argument? That because members prayed, the university must now run at a loss? That tithe is a discount voucher? That excellence should bow to sentiment? Please rest. When rich men build universities and charge ₦10m+, it’s “elite education.” When churches build and charge ₦2m, it’s “wickedness.” That hypocrisy is louder than any sermon. Tithe is worship, not entitlement. Church‑owned does not mean charity school. Excellence is expensive — everywhere in the world. Argue affordability if you like, but stop weaponizing tithe to mask entitlement. Facts don’t bend to emotions. #copied

Donald Trump’s actions in Venezuela do not make America safer, stronger, or more affordable. That Maduro is a brutal, illegitimate dictator does not change the fact that this action was both unlawful and unwise. We’ve seen this movie before. Wars for regime change or oil that are sold as strength but turn into chaos, and American families pay the price. The American people do not want this, and they are tired of being lied to. This is not about drugs or democracy. It is about oil and Donald Trump’s desire to play the regional strongman. If he cared about either, he wouldn’t pardon a convicted drug trafficker or sideline Venezuela’s legitimate opposition while pursuing deals with Maduro’s cronies. The President is putting troops at risk, spending billions, destabilizing a region, and offering no legal authority, no exit plan, and no benefit at home. America needs leadership whose priorities are lowering costs for working families, enforcing the rule of law, strengthening alliances, and — most importantly — putting the American people first.

Concerned Christian Youth Forum (CCYF) Responds to False Allegations Against Pastor E.A. Adeboye Abuja, Nigeria — The Concerned Christian Youth Forum (CCYF) has become aware of a widely circulated and deeply troubling allegation made by Mr. Seun Kuti against our revered spiritual leader, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). The allegation, which claims that Pastor Adeboye accepted the sum of $250,000 to heal a cancer patient, is completely false, baseless, and malicious. After careful inquiry and review, the CCYF affirms categorically that no such incident ever occurred, and no such payment was made. We further state clearly and unequivocally that Pastor E.A. Adeboye does not have a balcony in his residence from which he prays for people, as has been falsely alleged in the narrative surrounding this claim. This assertion is a fabrication and underscores the reckless misinformation being deliberately spread to mislead the public. These statements amount to a serious act of defamation and cyberbullying under Nigerian law. Section 24 of the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) Act, 2015 (as amended) expressly criminalises the knowing or intentional transmission of false messages through computer systems or social media platforms with the intent to cause insult, injury, hatred, or needless anxiety to another person. The law provides for penalties including fines and imprisonment upon conviction. Additionally, under the Criminal Code Act, particularly Sections 373 to 375, the publication of false statements that injure a person’s reputation constitutes criminal defamation and is punishable under Nigerian law. These laws exist to protect individuals and institutions from malicious falsehoods, online harassment, and reputational damage. We therefore call on Mr. Seun Kuti, should he insist on maintaining this allegation, to immediately provide credible, verifiable, and legally admissible evidence showing where, when, how, and to whom the alleged $250,000 was paid, including authenticated bank records, transaction details, or sworn testimony from verifiable parties. In the absence of such evidence, the claim remains a deliberate falsehood and an abuse of public discourse. Pastor Adeboye is a globally respected Christian leader known for humility, integrity, transparency, and over five decades of selfless service to God and humanity. Attempts to malign his character through sensational and unfounded claims are unacceptable and must not go unchallenged. The CCYF hereby gives Mr. Seun Kuti a seven (7) day ultimatum to issue an unreserved public apology to Pastor E.A. Adeboye and to retract these false statements in the same manner and platforms through which they were disseminated. Failure to do so will compel the CCYF to explore all lawful options available, including civil and criminal proceedings, to ensure that truth prevails and the integrity of our revered leader is protected. We urge the Nigerian public and the international community to remain vigilant, discerning, and committed to truth, fairness, and responsible speech, especially in an age where misinformation spreads rapidly and reputations can be unjustly damaged. Signed, Paul James Adama Convener Concerned Christian Youth Forum (CCYF) Abuja, Nigeria

Remember when Pastor E.A. Adeboye said he would never have a female secretary/PA be alone with a woman who isn’t his wife? He was heavily dragged online for that statement. Many young people insulted him, calling him old-fashioned or extreme, without realizing that he was speaking from a place of wisdom, experience, and responsibility. Interestingly, this is Jason Derulo a secular artist, not even a Christian, expressing the exact same sentiment after the accusations he faced. He said he would never again be alone in a room with a woman because of how easily a situation can be twisted and how devastating the consequences can be. And even after his case was dismissed, the dismissal didn’t trend nearly as much as the initial accusation that damaged his name. I’m not defending Jason Derulo, I don’t know anything about his personal life. It’s simply an observation: some truths are universal. Like it or not, some principles that elders teach aren’t about religiosity; they are about wisdom, protection, and foresight. And sometimes it takes seeing the same pattern repeat in the life of a completely different person before we realize those truths were never outdated.
