@Prominent_Bryan No, it doesn't. The average combined marginal rate is 19.05 in Ontario. Then you pay property tax on your average home, which is going to be around 4k, or another 6.7% of your income. 13% on everything you buy. Add in the payroll taxes, carbon taxes and etc..
