@Wanalyst007 This is why football has fallen. U can’t just teach or replicate cavanis movements, this is natural, comes from his view of the game and how his brain comprehends the nature of the situation, all learned from experience and personality. U don’t teach that you scout that in player

Both of Benjamin Sesko's goals against Burnley came from moves with 10+ passes in the build-up (16 for first goal, 13 for second). As many as #mufc managed in the Premier League under Ruben Amorim (two out of 66 goals) [@OptaJoe]

You just know the next bad results, especially if Ole gets the gig is going to go like this "Luke Shaw isn't the same player Ole had 5 years ago" "Casemiro shouldn't be starting games, Ole likes energy in midfield" "Ugarte doesn't have the traits of Fred"

He was sacked for calling mgmt out. He didn’t walk away. Even after he has gone you still want to score points. Man Utd have made the jobs of all managers whether you like or hate them more difficult. If fans can’t unify under this point the ownership will continue this.
Pythagoras In Boots ⚽️@pythaginboots

Seen a lot of United fans making a martyr out of Ruben Amorim. Would a martyr make a claim to walk away with no compensation only to go back on his word now?

What really concerns me is that Cunha drifts so unpredictably, misjudging where to be and how to shape play off the ball. The next manager must focus on guiding him to master the art of letting the game seek him, not chasing it...

@EBL2017 It’s called technique, tactics are out the bin if ur players are not technically equipped

Tactics mean nothing without execution. Liverpool executed at their VERY best with the personnel they had at their disposal and created nada. Arsenal executed at their VERY worst and deservedly drew. Simple as. Arsenal missed a lay up to go 8 clear. Psychological frailties…

Gakpo is a Europa League level player. Nothing more, nothing less. When you’re using a false 9 system, you need a reliable out-ball on your wings - Gakpo doesn’t offer it due to combination of technical & physical weaknesses.

@P_Utd8 @StatmanDave Yes, it's true. Manchester United recorded 30 shots in their 2-2 draw with Burnley on January 7, 2026—their highest in a Premier League match since October 2016, when they had 37 against Burnley. Sources like ESPN and StatMuse confirm this.

Manchester United had more shots against Burnley last night (30). That’s the most they’ve had in a Premier League game since 2016. Playing football the United way. 🔝

@olivyrr Brother Rashford is shite, and this bullshit quotes from flick doesn’t mean anything. Terrible player that didn’t deserve staring for man utd let alone wearing the great number 10.

I’ve seen people claim Barcelona somehow improved Rashford’s mentality. Yet no one has shown me any proof that Amorim’s 'accusations' about that mentality were actually true in the first place. It feels like deflection from people who don’t want to admit they were wrong about Rashford. Those of us who’ve followed him since his debut already knew that Amorim was either lying to justify pushing him out, or providing cover for INEOS. Either scenario reflects poorly on the club.
Barça Universal@BarcaUniversal

🚨 Hansi Flick: "When I talk to the players, I explain to them why they didn't play." "When I tried to explain to Rashford why he didn't start, he said to me: 'No need to explain to me, the important thing is that the team wins and we get the three points. Anything else doesn't matter'." "This is the right mentality. I am happy to have him with us."

@EBL2017 My brother we all can see what u are trying to do here, I read you like a book. You are backtracking/saving face in case Amorim starts winning and results starting getting better you will play the team is too good narrative. Smart guy

Hell of a team. Give it to Conte and he’s winning the Serie A. Give it to Inzaghi and he’s taking them into the deep stages of the Champions League knockouts. This idea that Manchester United have a player-based problem is total nonsense. INCREDIBLE squad for Ruben Amorim…

@EBL2017 The beautiful sport. Whereas a manager had the freedom to set up his team how he wants to win, tiki taka doesn’t mean right and no pressing wrong, Amorim is trying to play one way and it’s successful u can say they have quality they should be winning, because ur missing the idea

Amorim vs Dyche this week. One/two passes in the build-up (if even) before playing direct & competing for 2nd balls. Also not a lot of pressing in open play. Basically, which team comes out on top in transitions wins. Is this the model that lets Ruben compete with the elites?
