Members of the Sharples Orchestra joined the 'Operation Cyberbeat' mission at the Albert Hall in Bolton in association with Bolton Music Service and the @BritishArmy today! Pupils took part in interactive workshops from conducting a live band and composing a fanfare, to learning to march and trying on the famous red tunic and bearskin uniform! Pupils then watched a short concert by the Army Engagement Ensemble with many of our pupils getting up on the stage with the musicians to take part in the mission challenges...needless to say team alpha aka team Sharples were victorious in beating a local rival school in a tense task to build the highest structure before the music stopped! 💜🇬🇧 @PaSharples

What an end to the term with our winter concert. The talent tonight was exceptional. From the soloists to our incredible bands, the orchestra to our choir, the acting to the dancing. The talent at Sharples is out of this world! Thank you all for your support! @SharplesSchool
