Here’s a way you can tell it’s rigged. Wemby shoots the worst shot in history. If he misses it’s game over. Spurs have no help under the basket at all. Why would a 7ft big man ever be shooting this shot at that exact moment in the game . When I played ball if I shot this shot coach would have my ass running laps the rest of the year Also notice how the ball hits the back of the rim while going in like it was attracted to it with a magnet or something 😬

That said, you still want Hartenstein coming off the bench for those Kornet-style minutes — anchoring the second unit, protecting the rim, and crashing the glass for offensive rebounds.

Just so we are clear, Caruso is already leaning his head back in anticipation of the contact and clearly accentuates to make it look worse than it was. It’s an offensive foul, but “send a message” is soft as hell. You can’t hack and play physical all year and then cry about it.

Hey @ACFresh21, Just know you were the target of a dirty play by Wembanyama. I outlined that he does this days ago and was proven correct. He missed his target (your face), thank God, but he was trying to take you out of the game. I really hope the @NBA finally does something because it’s very dirty and very dangerous, and we all know if it was done to Wemby, how diligently the NBA would crack down (like it was SGA free throws). Watching this play again this morning, I’m advocating for the Thunder to please send a message to start game 2. The NBA refuses to police this guy. You need to put a shoulder through his chest in the first quarter and put him on his ass. That’s how you handle this guy.

It was off the ball out of the play intentional contact. I don’t see it any different than a guy standing out of the play in the corner and a dude shoving him into the stands.
