@FMLFPL My reasoning for including MGW was basically, if you score a hat trick, your in form. Honestly was not expecting this Sunderland defensive performance though, so good call on that.

@ChrisCollins248 Yeah violent conduct straight red and no reprievee, but you don't want a repeat of a few years ago when Wales won the 6 nations because like 4 of the 5 other teams got straight reds and had 14 men the whole games!

@PaddyRoss1 Im 50/50 on the 20 minute red, but i do think that it saved alot of face for england yesterday and helped keep the scoreline semi-respectable. But at the same time.. 2x yellow =1 red, no? 😅 it just makes sense, maybe its my older (ish) head, not sure

How on earth is that a second yellow? Both players ACTIVELY looking to challenge for the ball, one jumps, the other doesnt, yet england take a second yellow after a very controversial first? This match is awful from the officials #SCOvENG

@ChrisCollins248 Could have been worse, I remember Ulster Saracens match years ago, v similar situation to the 2nd yellow, but back then was a straight red, no 20 mins rule then, so game over halfway through first half. I do quite like that 20 minutes red rule as doesn't completely ruin a game

@PaddyRoss1 Im equally frustrated at a few things: 1 yellow was given without any kind of warning and was Nika stamping his authority down. The second yellow im annoyed at because its a 50/50 that truly is just 2 guys competing for the ball. Then add into it the 20 minute red BS, it was bad

@PaddyRoss1 And im 100% in favour of it being a penalty (albeit a bit of a harsh one) as it could be argued Arundel should be aware of the jump, but again, he only becomes aware when he takes the knee to the jaw, because hes competing for the ball at ground. This is why i hate TMO as well.

@ChrisCollins248 Ref called just a penalty on the pitch, TMO & I think touch judge asked him to look at it. None of them I believe said cynical foul, they said he was never in a position to contest for the ball. Which he wasn't 🤷‍♂️ Sucks when it goes against your team for sure, but thems the laws

@PaddyRoss1 Of course they should have called me, or y'know... ANYONE else with half a working eye. To call that a cynnical foul is shambolic and shows how far downhill the standards have gone. p.s; i also played, 12 years at various spots. I know the laws and rules too, dont worry princess.

@ChrisCollins248 Played the sport, watch the sport,even refereed the sport for a time. But what the referee, 2 touch judges & the TMO should have done was called Chris to find out the right call, he knows the laws 🫠 Sure they would've won the game if they hadn't let Scotland score 4 tries too 😉

@PaddyRoss1 Wrong. As soon as one player jumps, the grounded player can compete for the ball but cant touch the man in the air. Thats the tackle protection and injury protection you mentioned. However with the timing of the jumo being so close to the catch, thats not a yellow.

@ChrisCollins248 As soon as the guy jumps, the other guy has no chance to compete for the ball. As he has no chance to compete if he touches the other guy in the air then that's on him, even if the other guy jumps into him. If you're jumping at speed you'll always jump with one knee up.

@PaddyRoss1 Only thing is, when a player jumps less than half a second before the catch, and with BOTH players looking at the ball, it becomes a very 50/50 situation, something that the laws allow for but dont mention. And with a pointed knee coming up under white's chin.. it borders danger.
