My first in-person conference of my PhD was the last @TheSeabirdGroup conference in Cork two years ago, so it felt great to be able to come to Coimbra with a greater insight into my data (and to recognise faces!) @GeogDurham #ANTSIE

Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) has been confirmed in brown skua populations on Bird Island, South Georgia.
These are the first known cases in the Antarctic region.
