A Kenyan man turned KES 16,000 into KES 1.8 million on Polymarket in 2 months. Meanwhile, the timeline is still arguing about Forex and AI gigs. No fake gurus. No rented lifestyles. Just execution. The people making serious money already moved.

@mbiti_mwondi Double standards. Just recently you were running around in an MUFC jersey and behaving like these guys, if not worse. What happened, Daktari? Lost your love?

Just the other day, I told you that in Githurai, most of the milayas are comrades from Kiriri Women’s University, and they sell for KSh 50, but you didn’t believe me. Today, there is a viral video from Githurai showing young women allegedly soliciting men in public, which has sparked debate online. They are reportedly charging only KSh 50. Many Kenyans are linking the situation to the country’s harsh economic conditions.

@kagondu_yvonne Stop the sugarcoating. Work was punishment for Adam and Eve for eating the forbidden fruit. I think the Bible is sometimes self-contradicting. How can toil and gift be used to illustrate the same idea?

For GenZs saying that work is not a gift from God, allow me to quote the Bible: Ecclesiastes 3:13 “That everyone may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil, this is the gift of God.” Colossians 3:23 “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” Genesis 2:15 “The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.” 2 Thessalonians 3:10 “The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.”

TBH, us millennials witnessed unemployment in Kenya at its prime. Things were bad. We watched people finishing uni to stay home for years. Our parents would look at us with disappointment and one day they would stop supporting us financially, just like just, and you had to figure things out. It was us millennials who started online hustling in Kenya. It was us millennials who started influencer work in Kenya. Because we had to get creative. Millennials started flying out to UAE countries to figure things out. The sad reality is that even when you stop working because of maandamano, some people are still making money online, some people have their money working for them, some people are even making money off the maandamanos. You will not sit calmly at home when your default is anxiety because of unemployment. So when you see a millennial aggressively pursuing their work it's because we see it as a gift from God and we don't take it for granted.

@EvanoMemba The problem is not expenditure, its income. Find a way to improve your income. Why do you have girlfriend allowance, such a bold move for a tiny pay

@PaidInStress @kagondu_yvonne I know Millenials who by 25 years already had a million dollars in cash in their accounts. To speak to them you needed to talk to their PA but in their forties don't even have any coin. Like sometimes life just kills the fight in you and there is nothing you can do about it.
