On the morning of 13 May 2026, troops of Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps Balochistan commenced an area sanitization operation at general area Nosham of Barkhan District to eliminate terrorists of Indian backed Fitna Al Hindustan. During the operation, a group of terrorists was located and engaged by troops. During fire exchange seven terrorists of Indian backed Fitna Al Hindustan were sent to hell. Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the killed terrorists. However, during intense fire exchange, five brave sons of soil including a field officer met the ultimate sacrifice and embraced Shahadat. Shuhada include Major Tauseef Ahmed Bhatti (age 31 years, resident of District Pakpattan), Naik Fida Hussain (age 36 years, resident of District Sukkur), Sepoy Zakir Hussain (age 32 years, resident of District Skardu), Sepoy Suhail Ahmed (age 21 years, resident of District Khanewal) and Sepoy Muhammad Ayaz (age 24 years, resident of District Rahim Yar Khan). Sanitization operation in the surroundings continue to eliminate any other Indian sponsored terrorists present in the area. Relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision “Azm e Istehkam” (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.

The Republic of Balochistan asks IMF to cancel $1.3 billion aid to Pakistan Dated: 13 May 2026 Pakistan has now been handed Donald Trump’s version of ‘slavery.’ Pakistan’s Central Bank announced on Wednesday that the country received $1.32 billion after the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Executive Board completed the third review under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF). According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the IMF approved $1.1 billion under the EFF and an additional $220 million under the Resilience and Sustainability Facility (RSF). The SBP confirmed that on May 12, 2026, Pakistan received 914 million SDRs, equivalent to approximately $1.3 billion, and stated that the amount would be reflected in the country’s foreign exchange reserves for the week ending May 15, 2026. The IMF also confirmed that the disbursement was approved during its Executive Board meeting on May 8. The Republic of Balochistan has expressed grave concerns and strongly criticized the IMF’s decision to release another $1.3 billion package for Pakistan on May 12. The world already knows that Pakistan has become a hub of extremism and terrorism. Pakistan possesses neither a sustainable economic structure nor a credible long-term plan to repay the enormous debts it continues to accumulate from institutions such as the IMF and the World Bank. Billions of dollars borrowed by Pakistan’s rulers and military from the IMF, the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, and Gulf states have been used to suppress the Baloch national liberation movement and to plunder Balochistan’s vast natural wealth. This month, Pakistan announced the establishment of new headquarters for its paramilitary Frontier Corps (FC) in the Kharan Division a region rich in gold, copper, uranium, and other valuable minerals. These amount of $1.3 billion for sure will be used to build military cantonment, and upgrading of its missile and military mobility against the indigenous Baloch population. For decades, Pakistan and China have been involved in exploiting Balochistan’s resources. The Republic of Balochistan believes that the billions now provided by the IMF will ultimately be used to intensify the exploitation of Balochistan’s resources, expand military operations, and continue persecution of the Baloch people. Therefore, we strongly urge the IMF to immediately suspend financial assistance to Pakistan and reconsider the release of these funds. Balochistan has previously made it clear that international institutions should exercise caution before extending further loans to Pakistan. The wealth extracted from Balochistan has already enabled Pakistan’s military elite to transfer billions of dollars abroad through alleged illicit channels. The people of Balochistan will not accept responsibility for repaying debts incurred through the exploitation of their land and resources.
