Did not download the free 1week trial, and have no intentions of buying it what so ever. (And before anyone mentions BF6... I do not play that either). Im a COD player.

Look in my genuine opinion this is not the best COD has had to offer in a while. I’m gonna be hard on the game, because in the last over half decade COD has been scraping the bottom of the barrel, getting lazy, and losing sight of what made OG fans love the game. The ratings, sales, and what have you are deserved. Period. The multiplayer is only compelling for a month or two at best. Everyone either wants to hack, be an obnoxious 13-15 Year old wanting to be the next scump, which is a great goal for any aspiring pro cod player. But at the same time the game is infested with sweats, hackers, and your run of the mill shotgunner sniping players. The Dev situation also, and it’s inexcusable, like I said lazy (attributing to AI generated calling cards, poor campaign that destroys what makes black ops 2 great, overly milked classic maps like nuketown, raid, highjacked shipped at launch instead of DLC) I love zombies, but I couldn’t sit through this one long enough without becoming bored. I’d rather play Mario kart. So regardless the sale they put out, the game still is dog water.

Octane on BO7 not selling well: “I know they put the game on sale, the numbers must be absolutely awful.. it’s a shame because this is the best COD in so long but it didn’t sell well.” 🗣️

I used to think the same thing about jiggle peeking in halo infinite. I had my gripes, but so did the community and halo studios did something about it, and while it was reduced because it was baked into some coding I imagine, it felt more like classic halo to me in piv fights. So while I think this is somewhat similar and a poor development situation with cod, I think GAing it should be a thing. If other players can’t respect that then it needs to get buffed out for the next game. I see the advantages behind it using the technique but it’s controversial at best. If you’re the one getting abused by it, then take the fight somewhere else or challenge that shit. Then again I’m not a pro cod player so what do I know. 🤷

@YSeo05 @CoDClipped Anyone can play cod and make something of it. It just depends on how like the game I’m sure. It’s a matter of perspective and belief but anyone can be cracked at cod, while playing halo is different beast entirely.

No, it’s not fine. I’m sorry, but any use of AI takes away from what makes something special, like art in this case. It’s like asking someone (AI) to make something and then calling it yours. It’s tasteless and dishonest. And I’m just saying this directed in art, don’t get me started on the other things like coding, building maps or what have you.

@charlieINTEL using AI to help the devs create a higher quality game is fine, but using it just to increase profit margins while firing devs and release a cheaper feeling game sucks

@JouniHulkkonen @charlieINTEL It’s still the principle that most of the work is done by AI man. I’m an artist and to me it’s kinda tasteless whether it is polished at the end. You essentially let a machine do most of the work for you and do some touch ups and call it yours. It’s lazy PERIOD. Indefensible…

@charlieINTEL AI generated calling cards are totally fine as long as they are inspected and approved and possibly edited and polished by a human. Seriously, its just a friggin' calling card, just the correct kind of thing to use AI for.
