He’s one piece of a Ministry of Strategic Affairs operation that routed $6 million-plus to American groups while seeking legal advice on dodging FARA.
The man who ran DOJ’s FARA section until 2018 said these facts “would give rise to an inquiry,” and that the law is “color-blind to whether the foreign country at issue was an ally or adversary.” The same senators demanding FARA probes of SJP and Code Pink have said nothing.
