Will still pop onto here from time to time looking for specific information or tweets or for game day sports analysis, but the timeline is just too polluted to really hang around anymore. Not replacing my usage here with much yet but will return to tweet a link if I do. Cya!

Millennials are closer in age to Ozzy when he was on The Osbournes (53) than the distance between that age and the age he made it to (76). You’re welcome

@mattpuddister Possibly because of the ability to semi-ironically pronounce « le mao » and have it sound kind of like a word or pleasant sound with « raw full » or some such sound kind of awful

@ChrisSpoke Consider when and by whom these restrictive zoning laws were created in the first place.

@andrew_leach And wasn’t CPP discussed even before the current separation sable rattling, as part of Alberta Pension Plan proposal? Where even then this question was far from certain in any detail?

@andrew_leach Seems like you’re putting cart before the horse here? Everything would be on the table and subject to likely years of negotiations and horse trading. Maybe keep citizenship, but all same privileges (not rights) typically associated with it?

Anti-LPC people are keen to minimise Carney's achievement. Here's the thing. A political neophyte heading an exhausted 9-year-old ministry badly bruised by having to govern amid one of history's worst global crises won against a career politician with 30 years of experience...

Imagine sending an MLA out to Question Period to make this dumb of an accusation? Imagine being the MLA who received the marching orders and decided that yeah, this is something I’ll stake my reputation on? What a gong show. winnipegfreepress.com/breakingnews/2…

On K2-18b biosignature detection. - 2nd independant detection from different instrument - 0.3% detection error possibility - Habitable zone (Hate this term but just means it could have liquid water) - Water Vapor detected in atmosphere - Not only is Dimethyl Sulfide a biosignatue, its at the consentration we predict a hycean world with life would have - This chemical must be replinished I am not an expert on this subject, just relaying what I have digested so far. Hypersketpticism is good in science. But while it is accurate to say we are not 100% sure K2-18b has life, it is just as accurate to say life is the simplest and most likely explanation for the evidence. In any non-astrobiology science, in such a scenario, we would usually just say that last part outright. Its more likely than not that K2-18b has life. Awesome!

Other countries should experiment with the model of putting a guy on the debate stage who doesn’t care and has nothing to lose. I think it’s great.

@Dylon_R_Martin I wonder sometimes if there’d be a political market for Bloc straight talk if they ran candidates in some places outside Québec

@LucLewandoski Yeah. Well anyways I agree the debate will be better without the greens there and politically speaking their not relevant to the ballot question this year, I just don’t think that non-objective criteria should be factored in a decision.

@Palmquist88 Whereas I don’t think providing equal time to a group as relevant as the PPC during very limited debate time should be within their scope. The commission is supposed to make informed choices.
