The QEH was proud to be joined by local army cadets for the flag raising ceremony to honour the beginning of Armed Forces Week. CEO Alice Webster welcomed everyone and said how proud and delighted she was to have such an active armed forces network here at Team QEH.

Well done to this week's Team of the Week - the palliative care team! Their nomination reads: "The team are inspirational! Their dedication, commitment and compassion to our patients in their last few days of life is unquestionable. They remind me why I became a nurse."

One of the best things I have done for a long while. Took some of my army cadets to a care home to help with lunches. The interaction was amazing and I am so very proud I needed to share ❤️❤️
