@DannyDeraney Thank you for posting this again! My Dad was in the Big Red One, so very proud of him. He didn’t talk much about what happened. But after they made the movie he & his buddies talked about their experiences. So glad they did so their children would know their sacrifices!

Every year, I share this video of French caretakers who take sand from Omaha Beach in Normandy, and scrub them into the letters to give them the gold coloring.
They do this for all 9,386 US soldiers who died.
France also gave us this land as American soil. #MemorialDayWeekend

@Pammadonna @DaniWood8286 Might be why it’s a popular spot amongst the Bills aside from having good food etc, the option of privacy. I couldn’t imagine how mobbed they would be going out on Mothers Day if they didn’t have a chance of private dining with no one knowing. I don’t know, I’ve never been.
