We placed 2nd in the Mtn Dog Challenge at #incredibledog @Purina in Avon,CO. Beat out by an awesome team and new friends becca_kreski and her dog Cody. It was 40 degrees and raining but Mr. Biggs rocked it! Look for us on TV in July! Check out our travels @RefugeintheWild

Great read for introverts and extroverts. Makes you think twice about the power of group work and realize that individual work has great value as well. #quiet #introverts #differentiation #KidsDeserveIt #thepowerofintroverts

@EricJRas That sounds crazy fun! I did not know this existed.

Had forgotten about this great quote and saw it somewhere yesterday. I used it in Health Class today to talk about emotional health and healthy relationships. Dr. Suess continues to share his endless wisdom! #drsuess #classroomculture #EmotionalIntelligence #teachered #lrnchat

Just finished this novel. Should be required reading for our students. Maybe 8th grade. It is an insightful look into ongoing inequalities. #thehateyougive #schoolculture #empathy goodreads.com/book/show/3207…

This is my second year at a new school and although I like it, the change has been hard. As I am going through these edtech lessons I am really realizing that I need to embrace the change and continue to be a risk taker and model teacher at my new school. #edtechteamonline

Listened to Mary Ellen West today and learned about a great new tech resource for students called H5P (h5p.org) Lots of great resources for creating interim assessments and giving students practice. #edtechteamonline #flippedlearning

Was part of a hang out with Micah Shippee (@micahshippee) for my google cohort. He has some amazing tools for PBL I learned about embedding pictures and information on maps. Love the Tour Builder and the power students will feel when using this tool. Thanks for great tips!

Forgot to give a shout out the Denver Public Library (@denverlibrary ). They were at Comic Con and were giving out free books and buttons. My students were loving it. #denvercomiccon #summerReading Thank you all so much for your commitment to the community!

This is very important for PBL. Spend time during the project giving feedback. twitter.com/Catlin_Tucker/…
Dr. Catlin Tucker@Catlin_Tucker
Don't spend 90% of your energy/time giving feedback on finished product, put that 90% into giving students feedback as they work!

One of the most important parts of PBL is developing a good driving question. Buck Institute has a good starter activity here but you can also create your own. It is important that the question is open ended & intriguing to students. #edtechteamonline bie.org/blog/how_do_i_…
