AFRICA LIBERATION DAY MARKED WITH A CALL FOR YOUTH TO EXPLORE OPPORTUNITIES IN THE CONTINENT- SENATOR MUNGATANA
The Africa Liberation Day is commemorative of the founding of the Organisation of Africa Unity(OAU) on 25th May 1963.
I was the chief guest in the function where various university student leaders from several universities in Kenya gathered on 24th May 25 together with African American guests who share the idea of Pan Africanism.
I called on youth to look beyond the challenges facing the continent and take up the mantle of leadership in looking for opportunities beyond Kenya.
Africans, wherever they live, must support each other to make the world a better place.
The event was hosted in the precincts of Parliament in collaboration with the Centre for Pan African Affairs.
I addressed the gathering on behalf of Kenya Delegation to Pan African Parliament which consists of five of us; Senator prof. Margaret Kamar MP, Hon Esther Passaris MP, Hon Rahab Mukami MP, Hon Majimbo Kalasinga MP and myself as Head of Delegation.
God bless Africa.

slavery’s economics still haunt us.
Stolen for free → $100K to $750K to return.
Forced labor → Visa investor programs.

Why Raila Odinga for African Union Commission Chair. 📸📷
Both Kenya and Prime Minister @RailaOdinga are believers in the Africa renaissance. An Africa that is rising. An Africa that is self-confident. An Africa that will assert its interest more strongly.
Mr. Odinga is a consummate negotiator, a strong leader, a visionary. The AUC requires a leader who has been tested; a leader who will shape the office and give it gravitas and weight.
In the candidature of Hon. Raila Odinga, just like in stronger Kenyan brands, this is another brand for Kenya; a positive brand that will attract good to the country.

JFK warned that “The very word ‘secrecy’ is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secrecy … We decided long ago that the dangers of excessive and unwarranted concealment of pertinent facts far outweighed the dangers which are cited to justify it.”
The 60-year strategy of lies and secrecy, disinformation, censorship, and defamation employed by Intel officials to obscure and suppress troubling facts about JFK’s assassination has provided the playbook for a series of subsequent crises — the MLK and RFK assassinations, Vietnam, 9/11, the Iraq war and COVID — that have each accelerated the subversion of our exemplary democracy by the Military/Medical Industrial Complex and pushed us further down the road toward totalitarianism.
“A nation that does not trust its people is a nation that is afraid of its people.” A government that withholds information is inherently fearful of its citizens’ ability to make informed decisions and participate actively in democracy.
Thank you, President Trump for trusting American citizens and for taking the first step down the road towards reversing this disastrous trajectory.

As India celebrates its 76th Republic Day and the Platinum anniversary of its constitution, I convey my felicitations and best wishes to President Droupadi Murmu (@rashtrapatibhvn), PM @narendramodi, the government and our great friends, the people of India. It is my firm belief that India’s adherence to the values of democracy and constitutionalism continue to be an inspiration and guiding example for young democracies such as the Maldives.
