True a visit to China doesn’t prove anything / but it certainly proves that China isn’t struggling. And it doesn’t take much research to figure out that child is doing well. And that’s that China is pretty much winning economically, technologically, they can certainly hold their own military, They’re certainly winning diplomatically. You will see how much better China doing than USA for example & probably get angry like everyone else does when they find out the truth.

You can debate China's economic system all day but at the end of that day they make healthcare available for their country, have all but eliminated poverty and homelessness and make living affordable for their population and don't bomb civilians in the Middle East

China is doing well. No countries perfect. Including Canada. Canada has problems too. But overall, China is doing very very well, and they’re economic system of ensuring that the government works for the people, and the betterment of the people is hands-down, the best. Many countries could learn from China. And in fact, the only people that see China as a threat is USA. Because it’s a threat to USA delusional superiority. A threat to USA’s obsessive need to control the entire world.

As a foreigner in China who saw apartments in Shanghai selling for $100k 20 years ago that are now worth $1M+, I asked my wife, "Does this mean we can now afford to move closer to the city?" She laughed. We looked at the real estate apps. And while prices are down, an apartment that was $1.4M at the peak is now selling for $1.2M. Some areas are hit harder, some not hit at all. Where we live in Fengxian, in a villa compound, there's been almost no change. Same goes for the next district over in Jin Shan. The apartment we bought in my wife's hometown some years ago went up and is now back to around the price we bought it for. Kinda meh 🤷 Most people we know are happy to see prices come down. Things were getting out of hand. Now young people can continue to afford to buy a home. But negative headlines about China still got to make a living I guess 😂
