I recently got the worst news of my life, my baby Booker was diagnosed with cancer. 😔💔 Booker is more than a dog to me, he’s my best friend, he’s my son, he’s my baby, he’s by my side through all my problems, he loves me unconditionally, we do everything together. I love him so much. He’s the sweetest dog ever. He doesn’t deserve to feel any of this pain. He’s only 7 years old. He’s still a baby. Unfortunately, lymphoma is a cancer that does not have a cure so sadly it’s just a matter of time before I lose my baby to this awful disease. I am shocked by these results, I am speechless at the news that my dog has cancer, I’m so sad, I’m so upset, I’m so broken, it’s something I never saw coming and could never prepare myself for. It’s something I never expected to be posting about my baby. Just a week ago, my dog was perfectly normal. Cancer really does come out of nowhere and spreads quickly😭 this dude was supposed to be by side when I got married & had kids. I cried. I cried a lot of tears. When I got the news from the doctor that he had cancer, I blacked out. I went numb. I still don’t believe it. It feels like a bad dream that I can’t wake up from. My baby doesn’t deserve any of this pain, he’s so innocent. He’s probably so confused by all of this and I feel terrible for him. I will be starting chemotherapy for him asap to try to make him as comfortable as possible for the rest of his time with us. If he reacts well to the chemo and the meds, he may be able to stay with us for “several months” according to the cancer specialist, and that’s what I’m praying for at this point 🙏🏼 I wish there was a cure, I wish there was a chance for him to beat the cancer, but unfortunately all I can hope for is extended time and pain free time when we’re dealing with a sickness that has no cure 😩 Booker is the strongest dog ever and I have full faith that he will stay with us as long as the cancer allows him to! I will continue to pray that he is pain free for the rest of his life. I will continue to pray that he can at least be by my side for another couple of months. Thank you guys so much for all the love for me & my baby Booker 🐾💕
