Two things surprised me about the Elder calls. The first is that almost nobody asked what they get out of being an Elder. Not one person in 13 calls led with "what's in it for me." Every single person led with some version of "what do you need" or "where do I fit" or "I've been wanting to do this for years." The second is that three separate people, completely independently, identified the exact same problem and offered the exact same solution. I'm not going to say what it was yet. But when three strangers diagnose the same thing without talking to each other, you know you're not guessing at what's broken. You know. The people in this group are not typical NFT holders. They're business owners, finance professionals, advertising executives, foremen, developers, web strategists, creatives. People who ship things in real life and want to ship things here. I went into these calls expecting to convince people. Instead they convinced me that this community has been underestimated for a very long time. 7 more calls. Then we build.

To everyone to whom much has been given, much will be required; and from the one to whom much has been entrusted, even more will be demanded.

Quick update for the Frogs of @ThePlagueNFT 1⃣New Discord is live. I will start accelerating the vouches soon. Working through some of the bugs and the process. I have never seen so many people want to get into Discord :) Our goal is to create "clean" channel where our community can gather and not have to deal with the transients or daily shills we all get in this space. 2⃣ Exodus is moving along nicely. Over 4,000 Genesis Frogs burned so far, with a little over 1,100 new Exodus Frogs created. Elder selection process will start to be communicated next wee. 3⃣ The animation process is moving slower than I would like. I will have a more solid update on this by next week. --------------------------------- I believe this bear market will kill the majority of the remaining NFT brands. I do not believe that NFTs are dead. But certainly the NFT market as we knew it has been dead for a while. What we have left are some zombie brands, propped up by a few people hoping their bags will pump on more time. That being said, I do believe there are a good number of NFT communities (including the Frogs) that have a real opportunity to mold the industry into something meaningful. But I am sure half the comments will tell me dumb and "washed" I am.

After 6 good years, I’ve decided not to renew my ambassador role with @GGPoker. We are trying to have kids this year and I’m launching an investment fund, so that will be my full focus going forward. I started playing poker exactly half my life ago and it has given me an incredible amount of freedom and opportunity. It allowed me to travel the world, meet amazing people and build the life I have today. It will always be very special to me. Huge thanks to the team and to you, the community. It’s been a great ride and I’m very grateful.

The new Frog Discord is live. There is no link. You will start seeing people get vouched for to enter into the discord. Criteria to join: 1.) Be a Frog holder. Genesis or Exodus 2.) Get vouched for by someone who is in there already. 3.) Every person in the discord is given only 2 vouches. There are two primary rules. 1.) The Golden Rule 2.) Don't shill The old Discord will stay open indefinitely. We will still make announcements there, and we will ensure every announcement is also posted from this account. Our goal is to build upon the already amazing community of PEOPLE we have in the Plague. P.S. Elder applications will start getting approved shortly.

@Pons_ETH @ChrisJourdan To those with conviction and patience go the spoils. If you owned Amazon at the peak of the dot com era, it took you a decade to get back to neutral. Plenty of reasons along the way to pack it in and sell, but those with patience were rewarded. The key is in the holding.

Was thinking about the conversation this morning with @ChrisJourdan on his show about NFT projects and the community surrounding them. If/when the Frogs finally "make it" -- whatever that means -- it will be a bittersweet moment for me personally Sweet, because those that stuck through all the crap will reap the benefits of our success Bitter, because there are plenty of great people who believed in what we were doing... but eventually gave up on us (rightfully so)... and they will miss out on the success

@Sam_Vecenie The only way to do it is to disassociate draft position from record. The 26 teams not in the conference finals should have equal shot at draft position. Problem solved.

Gave my favorite tanking solve on the podcast. I don't really believe draft pick protection rule changes or The Wheel or whatever will work the way we want. But you know what might? Putting 10% of both players/owners BRI in escrow and rewarding each for wins nightly.

my 7th grader did pretty good on his state reading test (hes homeschooled but its required) and Dostoevsky's Brothers of Karamazov was on the list of suggsted reading in his range. Along with Moby Dick, which he's reading that now, but I never read Brothers, I think we will do it togethher after seeing these quotes you've put up

It’s the equivalent of having exclusive access at a nightclub. Unfortunately, if you don’t know anyone, you aren’t getting behind the velvet rope. And that’s ok.

@montimania @cckreativs_eth @ThePlagueNFT Well that is where we differ in perspective. I don't view it as closing the door on our community. Exclusivity exists everywhere. You are in group chats that others would probably like to be invited into.. But you don't invite everyone.

This must be a joke right? 😂 @ThePlagueNFT is about to start rejecting community members access to their Discord if they're not active enough on X. Nothing builds loyalty like pushing away your own holders.
